Not enough space to list all the good things to say about this place!
Came in today, haven’t been here in several years. Same girl working the lunch window in the back. Same free chips and salsa. Same gr8 food! Same gr8 service! Prices have gone up, but thats to reflect inflation. Food is still ridiculously cheap! Solid solid choice for quick fast dining. Love this place! Do stop. Authentic!

Nothing fancy, but you will get super fast service, and great food. The tacos are only $ 1.25 on Mon & Tues. Free chips and homemade hot sauces (red/​green) on the table. Grab yourself a drink from the coolers on your way, and step up to the counter in back to place your food order. You’ll be given a number… and about 30 seconds later, your food will be set down in front of you. What’s not to like. This is a great place for a quick lunch. It can get pretty packed between the hours of 11am and Noon due to the BP refinery work force.

This is a Mom and Pop Mexican Grocery store with a grill and tables in the back. They make the best burritos in town. The burrito is huge and only 5 $. It’s ready in only a few minutes. They make their own hot sauce that comes with every order. The red one is mild and the green is hot (although neither are too hot to handle).
They no longer accept credit cards! It is now CASH ONLY. I am very disappointed in this decision because I rarely carry cash and have to make a special trip before dining here. This has affected how often I go.

I love this place. The burritos are enormous, the tacos are a dollar, they have Mexican sodas (even Pepsis made from can sugar), and you can be in and out in an extremely short amount of time.
There’s a five-​dollar minimum for using a card, which is important to remember because everything’s so dirt cheap.

Tiny Mexican grocery store in Whiting, Indiana with a small grill in the back room that has the largest burritos i’ve ever had. Just 4.50 and they are really tasty too. Their steak tacos are also very good. Just found out they are having 99 cent tacos M-​F for the month of September. Also they take cash only.
