Stayed for one night 9÷25÷15. Our toilet was not flushing so we contacted front desk around 4:00PM. We had to leave for a meeting did not get in until 11:30PM. No one had fixed the toilet. There were no other rooms to move to so we had to stay in a room that smelled like sewer. When we got in that evening at 11:30PM we were locked out of our room. Had to go to the office and have our card rekeyed. There were hairs in the bath tub. I went to the office to talk with the manager about out toilet problems in the morning. He said that he would give me a discount on my room but the credit would not appear until a couple of days on my credit card. It is now 10÷11÷15, 16 days later, no credit on charge. I have called at least 8 times and left messages for the manager to call with no success. If he would have made things right I would not be writing this review. The room was modern in decorations. Close to highway. Had a refrigerator and microwave. Very poor service.

You really need to ask yourself if it’s worth it. If you’re laid back and money is not all that important than perhaps this is the place. It is of course, the closest chain hotel/motel to Fontanel aka Carl Black Chevy Woods Amphitheater. You could stay on site at Fontanel but that is way expensive. Well this place can be too because I was watching Super 8 room rates nearly double per night after a certain major entertainer announced a concert at Fontanel. Bummer. Well I still gave it a shot because I didn’t want to drive far after the concert. My wife and I agree it’s a two star for several reasons. On the plus side you have a small microwave and large mini-fridge. Surprisingly they have a wireless key entry system, so keep your room key in your wallet and just hold it up to the door(nice)! The flat TV on the wall is OK. On the minus side there are several things to mention. We were on the first floor and the second floor seems to be a stick frame floor and no concrete, so you hear everyone walking around upstairs. The sidewalls are equally thin. Our entry door was not very insulated, you can see sunlight coming in around the edges meaning sound comes in that way too. The curtains had holes in them(how does that happen??!). We had a half roll of toilet paper in the room. No spare rolls, I had to ask the cleaning crew the next morning for a roll. Are the costs to run this place that tight here? The bathroom door has touch up paint on it that doesn’t match the door so it sticks out like a ½ way done project. When the lights are turned on they are very dim, because they are slow-start /warm up CFL lights that are probably 10-year old technology. The new CFL’s are much faster to get bright. It’s scary-dim in that hotel room at first. Breakfast was minimal, they have cereal and some danish in a plastic bag you can heat in the microwave. Otherwise the only hot offering is a waffle maker. They could easily step things up in the breakfast area. I know Super 8’s can be nice, I’ve been in one in Petoskey, Michigan that was excellent all around. Unfortunately this location in Nashville doesn’t even come close. Fortunately we only spent 1 night here.

You get what you pay for. This hotel was clean & the shower was hot. The TV was a flat screen & the heater worked great. The bed was comfortable, the place was quiet & I felt safe here. If you’re looking for perks, pay more & go somewhere else. The microwave didn’t work and the ice machine was broken.

This is no 4 star hotel, but compared to other Super 8’s, I would definitely rate this 4 stars. The front desk clerk was friendly, the room/sheets/towels were all clean. There was no smell in the room. We felt the location was safe. They also had surveillance cameras on the front of the building so all the parking spots were monitored through the night. We had a whole car full of stuff as we are on a road trip, and it was all fine left in the car. If you need a cheap place to stay, I would recommend.

Disgusting. Everything in this room could have been pulled out of the dumpster. Blood stains, cigarette burns and the pungent smell of mold. Both doors had been kicked in and were never replaced. TV remotes didn’t work. I’d rather keep my 70 bucks and sleep in the parking lot.

What? A 5 star for a Super 8? Yep. But it’s a qualified 5 star, ok? This is a budget motel. If you come expecting more, you will be disappointed. But, if all you need is a clean place to sleep, good wi-fi, and a little something for breakfast, you’ll be well satisfied here.
