Stopped in for fuel at the pilot because it was the cheapest. They put a $ 151.00 hold on your credit card plus the actual fuel cost! I can only imagine how bad that would screw someone who used a bank card with a low balance. Fortunately, I used a regular credit card, but still. Then, on the way back North I needed fuel again, so I stopped at the Flying J to avoid the extra charges. Guess what pilot owns them too! Got hit with a second $ 151.00 hold. I’m not even sure where $ 151.00 is a logical amount for a car fuel pump. That would be almost 69 gallons of gas at current prices. Considering that they also charge you for the actual amount, you could easily end up like me with almost $ 400 worth of charges for two tanks of gas that only total $ 80.00 combined. Since these are pending charges, they technically aren’t fraudulent(yet), so I can’t even have them removed by my credit card company. If they are going to charge people this much, they should at least be forced to place a sign noting it.

Nothing special here. Has a fair Dennys, for food. Staff a bit rude. Food out of the hot deli, hard, sort of old. Cashiers slow.
