The Hitter’s Edge offers six batting cages in the Lehigh Valley that provides four different speeds for both baseball and softball. Our speeds are: Baseball: 40 MPH, 50 MPH, 60 MPH, and 70 MPH and our Softball: Slow Pitch, 40 MPH, 50 MPH, and 60 MPH. We also offer a turf facility for individual and team training as well as private baseball and softball lessons.

History

Established in 1992.

The Hitter’s Edge was built in 1992 and was modified in 2013 with six brand new pitching machines that offer batters both baseball and softball per machine with four different speeds for each setting.

Meet the Manager

Dan V.

Manager

Dan Villanti was hired in 2013 as the General Manager of The Hitters’ Edge. Villanti graduated from DeSales University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management (2009) before continuing his education and receiving his Master’s Degree in Sport Management from Drexel University (2011).

Dan Villanti currently coaches for the Notre Dame High School Green Pond Baseball program, where he has assisted the program to reach Colonial League Championships (2009 and 2014) and a PIAA District XI 2A Championship (2014). Villanti has over ten years of coaching experience and has assisted with three current professional baseball players and over 50 collegiate baseball players in the Lehigh Valley and its surrounding areas.
