Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse of Whitehall

Dreadful delivery service. I had delivery of a dishwasher scheduled between 1 and 4 pm. At 11:15 the truck called and said they would be here around 12. I waited on my front step between 11:45 and 12:30. Then I sat inside with my door open waiting for them. I tried to call the truck twice, no answer. At 4, I called the store and was told they’d contact the truck and have someone call me. At 4:45 I called the store again. They said the driver told them no one answered my door and they left a flyer. Nonsense, I was on my step and there is no flyer. Now I have to hang around waiting on these losers tomorrow.

This is kinda a messed up road to find it but it’s great. I came to get boxes and I told the person that stands by the door and he directed me to them. Staff is nice and happy, the Lowes near me is almost the same. Then again, this road is like a highway slash shopping road so you WILL get lost if you don’t have gps or read signs that show the obvious. Glad I went here.

This location has terrible service, everytime we come. We only go here if we have to.

This Lowe’s is always hit or miss… sometimes you get lucky and have the best service in the world. Other times, you can’t find a soul to help you. Luckily, I’ve never ran into anyone who was cross or a pain, so that’s a good sign. I just wish that they were better staffed.
The hubs isn’t impressed with their lumber selection. A trip for 1x3s today ended up with none in our cart since every single board (of a stack of about 30) was nowhere near straight. Apparently that’s important in framing our basement walls :-p
They do have nice selections of flooring, lighting & bathroom fixtures. Prices are reasonable and they accept competitor coupons. We’ve found some great deals between coupons, cashback with credit cards (Capital One just finished a 10% cashback program today) and clearance racks. Search for the yellow tags — some of them are just new low prices, but sometimes you’ll find clearance items mixed in the racks. Normally, however, clearance will be on the end caps.
HD is closer for us but I like the layout & bright/​clean feeling of this Lowe’s better.

This location is really nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. They are the only place that sells Thai basil. Thai basil is a must if you are going to do stir fry at home.
