Whitefish Hostel provides affordable lodging in downtown Whitefish, MT. The Hostel offers 10 beds, one 6 bed dorm room and one 4 bed dorm room. Facilities include; lockers, bike rack, showers with changing rooms, laundry service, memory foam mattresses, bedding, towel and basic breakfast. Front deck, lounge area and backyard are available to guests to make themselves feel at home.

Inside the Hostel is an Organic Café open to the public. The café offers an organic juice, smoothie, coffee and salad bar as well as baked/​raw goods and a to-​go cooler. All ingredients used in this café are organic and/​or local when available.

History

Established in 2013.

Whitefish Hostel is privately owned and operated by Lynon and Kirtlye Lohof (sisters). This is our first business endeavor. We were born and raised in Montana but have traveled to numerous places around the world and stayed in many hostels. Whitefish Hostel is a combination of all our favorite hostels from around the world. The café seemed like an obvious choice as an addition to the hostel to services not only our guests but the locals as well.

Meet the Business Owner

Lynon and Kirtlye L.

Business Owner

Kirtlye and Lynon Lohof were born and raised in Montana. Summers were spent on the family ranch in Southeastern MT and school years in the Flathead Valley. Kirtlye received a bachelors in History and Masters in teaching then went on to teach at Flathead High for 7 years. She was also the head girls track coach for 5 years. Lynon received a bachelors in Photography and has worked in the food industry for several years.
