I’m so glad I consulted the all-knowing internet before buying my cocktail hour baguette elsewhere. Luckily, this was on our way to Skamania Lodge, but now knowing the quality of this place, I’d drive far out of my way to secure some gluten-filled goodness. Hands down the best baguette I’ve ever had(my soft midsection will attest to my expertise). Perfect oven-fired crustiness on outside protecting that airy, delicate chewiness on the inside made it all the more delightful to tear into with our bare hands. The sandwiches looked phenomenal, but we’d already had lunch. Next time we’ll know better!(Though the wait for our espressos did cause our eyes to wander resulting in the addition of a fabulous berry crumb bar and chocolate bread pudding to our order.) Really quaint atmosphere with the modern rustic vibe, but not pretentious like most places who’d install a live edge bar.

Awesome place with great staff and great vibes. A perfect pre-hike stop for breakfast pastries and the breakfast sandwiches are phenomenal! The wine is local and the bread is handmade in kitchen. What can I say, this place embodies the white salmon community vibe.

Great coffee, great pastries and relaxing atmosphere. We’ve been going here a lot for breakfast and coffee on the weekends. The breakfast sandwiches and chocolate croissants are very delicious! They have fresh-baked bread’s which are delightful as well. Staff is always friendly and courteous.

Wonderful! Just had their Spelt/poppyseed bread. Excellent flavor and texture. This bakery is a bit off the beaten path but well worth the trip.

Their breads are delightful, but you better sit down before you eat their pies OMG incredible! They also make the best lattes in the gorge. I shouldn’t forget to mention these folks make you feel right at home.

Gluten freaks rejoice, coffee snobs turn up your noses no further, and surly locals prepare to hate the future lines. If you’re in the Gorge do yourself a favor and take the time to come in and enjoy what this Bakery has to offer.

I am a longtime White Salmon resident, I’m thrilled to have a wonderful, new bakery in town. It’s understated, everything is fresh and tasty and the staff is very helpful! I had a less than stellar chai latte the first time I went in and when I left a brief explanation of my experience via Square(the payment software), White Salmon Baking Co. issued a refund for the drink. So unexpected and GREAT customer service! I look forward to being a regular here!

Good breakfast sandwiches on excellent site-baked english muffins. We bought a dozen of the muffins to bring home. Wonderful flavor. Excellent rustic bread(not for sandwiches: Too bubbly). Wood fired ovens. Pleasant people. I was not too pleased by the smokey taste of the chocolate-chocolate cookie, but my wife liked it very well.

This place serves up some of the best baking you will ever encounter. The blueberry polenta cake/loaf was amazing, as was the fruit pie. The homemade ice tea and their root beer are great and they also make super coffees. But the amazing find is the baguette, to rival any fine baguette in France: I’m French, I know.

Yay! A great new place in White Salmon. Loved the ciabatta bread, ham egg arugula and cheese sandwich and the environment is awesome! This will def be our go to stop in white salmon.

Great addition to White Salmon! We used to drive across to Hood River for breakfast at Ground or Pine Street Bakery. Now we can just walk up the street for breakfast and treats! So glad to have a legit bakery in town.

So excited white salmon has a bakery!!! And not just any old bakery, this place rocks. Bread is baked in a wood fired oven and is oh so good. So far we have tried the baguette and the sesame — chewy outside and beautifully soft on the inside. The ciabatta looked delicious and they serve sandwiches with it. They have breakfast sandwiches too, soup and salads. Right now I’m devouring a ginger molasses cookie and a dark chocolate coconut macaroon. Haven’t tried the coffee yet but they use locally roasted beans from hood river. The atmosphere is warm and cozy with a community table and bar seats looking out to the beautiful mountain side above jewett creek park.

This is a great addition to town! I stopped in while waiting for the bank to open and was surprised by all the yummy food. I had a breakfast sandwich(good variety) and it was real good. I decided I wanted to have something sweet and had the chocolate chip cookie thingy… Very tasty and lots of chips. Coffee was terrific too! I recommend and will be back soon!
