I love, love, love this place! Everything I’ve tried here is amazing — their cannolis are my favorite! The staff is friendly and nice — I just wish they were open more! And took credit cards … I’ll definitely be back!

I go here regularly for a sliced seedless rye and a jelly donut for my dad. The quality is great for those items and I have never had a problem with customer service. It is kind of odd to not take credit cards, but once you’re a regular, you just plan for it.

The White Plains Bakery makes the absolute best St. Joseph’s Pastries. They are only available around March 19th but they are delicious. Two types, one with cannoli cream and one with a vanilla cream. They also make the best ever Sarah Berhardt chocolate cookies. They have a creamy chocolate filling. Most of their cookies are excellent but these are the best. Great care is taken to use the finest ingredients in their baking is obvious. I was so delighted to find such a good bakery close to where I live when in New York.

Great baked goods. Best lemon cake ever. I’ve been here tons of times and never had any problems with customer service(as others indicate). They only take cash though, so that’s very annoying.

Been in this place a few times because it’s the closest bakery to our home and every time I say, I’m never walking in there again. The product is barely acceptable but the owner is a complete jerk. He is condescending and he makes you feel like you are wasting his time ordering a cake. Sorry — never again will I support a business like this — convenient or not…

Tri-Color was delicious. Only got 2 pieces but wish I would have gotten more. I also have some canolies and tea biscuits I haven’t tasted yet. My only issue was the price. I feel like for a small«ma and pop» bakery, it’s a bit pricey. $ 1 for 1 mini canoli and $ 3 for a large one? This place is good but not THAT good. I don’t think I will be going here simply because I know other delicious bakeries that charge half the price

I agree with mom K. about the bad customer service. Not sure if I was dealing with the owner or one of the workers, but the lady wasn’t very helpful or nice. The product is not that great either. I had one of their cakes, and while it was good, it wasn’t worth the price they charged for it.

great product, very bad customer service. owner and workers were more interested in their cell phone conversations than helping people in line. too bad, because they have wonderful products. If you like waiting in line watching the workers on the phone, this is the place for you.

Sometimes writing a review for a place that is legendary, seems silly. Everyone knows its good. Anyone who goes here, is not looking on a Unilocal for a review, however, just so I can claim to be the first, let me review this bakery. It is excellent! The cookies are fabulous. The Napoleons would make any one surrender. The muffins, especially the chocolate chip and corn are outstanding. Just when you think it doesn’t get any better, order a birthday cake and wonder why you don’t celebrate your birthday every day.
