This a Martial Arts Academy dedicated to traditional and contemporary martial arts. We specialize in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Instruction and have been International Champions since 2003 in NAGA, IBJJF, World’s Gracie and many more tournaments held nationally. We are staffed by advanced BJJ practitioners inlcuding Alex Izaguirre BJJ Black Belt. In addition we teach Full Contact Oyama Karate, Shodokan Aikido, Kick Boxing and MMA.
Our Chief Full Contact Insturctor is 7th Degree Black Belt Mitsugu Sakai 3 Times World Champion in Full Contact Karate.
History
Established in 1963.
We have been present in the area since the early 1960’s. The original name of the Organization was Kyokushinkai World Organizations. It was founded originally by Grand Master Mas Oyama in the 1950’s. In the early 1960’s The younger brother of Oyama senior, Shigeru Oyama was sent to NY to continue to develope the organization. White Plains was the seat of the first headquarters. Eventually the organization evolved into World Oyama Full Contact Karate which is spread across the globe. Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Aikido and MMA were added to the curriculum at the turn of the century. All classes are taught by qualified Black Belts affiliated to Team Jucao USA (Equipe Jucao) and to The Tomiki Aikido Association of The Americas respectively.

Hello My name is Alex Izaguirre. I a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu under Ailson Jucao Brites, Full Contact Karate Black Belt under Grand Master Shigeru Oyama, Aikido Black Belt Under Grand Master Nobuyoshi Higashi and a Japan Aikido Association Black Belt trained by Manuel Vargas 5th Degree Black Belt. I have close to 35 martial arts experience. I have been teaching since 1998 under the watchful eye of the Oyama family and I am very proud to share high quality traditional and contemporary martial arts. In addition I am a seasoned competitor and have successfully coached my students into National and International Gold Medal Status in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. I am dedicated sharing the true spirit of Budo.
