History

Established in 1979.

In 1982, a new building was built in Southern MD and a new location was opened in Woodbridge.

The Menefee family owns and operates the business with Robert Menefee as President since 2001. «Providing a positive client experience is our main mission. We are in the people business and strive to treat clients from the phone, internet or walk-​in with the importance they deserve.» Our store also offers professional home design services.

Business Owner

As the CEO of both Flooring America and FA Design Build, Rob Menefee is responsible for overseeing all facets of the business. Rob has a proven executive management track record and over 20 years of experience driving sales growth in the flooring and construction industries.

Rob has previously served on the CCA Global Advisory Council. He continues to serve as a board member (2000-​present) for the Maryland/​Northern Virginia Floor Covering Association and previously served as the President (2007 – 2008).
