The delivery guy delivered to my campus, I asked him to stay in the lobby and he followed me into my dorm room! My friends told him to leave and we will give him his tip and sign the merchant copy of the receipt in the lobby he got upset and cursed at us and we do have it on video. Their food is not even that good, we now order from port Chester.

The only thing in the order that tasted good was the egg roll. The garlic sauce tasted like watered down hunan sauce and the BBQ ribs were red in color but sauceless and flavorless. I’m so disappointed that I wasted money on dinner that ended up in the garbage.

Not bad for $ 15 minimum order and free delivery. I ordered the chicken fried rice for $ 6 and specified all white meat chicken. It looked like they did use all white meat, but the amount of chicken in the dish was seriously lacking. The onions were just charred but not cooked through so we’re very acidic. I was excited to see crab Rangoon on the menu because you don’t see that often in New York, but theirs seemed like it was made with some type of puff pastry and the dough really took away from the flavor of the filling.

I have always loved this place, well since the late 80’s anyway. A few years ago sadly the quality of food started to decline. So, I’ve been going much less frequently. I recently ordered the lunch special, General Tso’s chicken, with pork fried rice and egg roll and wonton soup. The General Tso’s chicken had no spice to it. It had the red pepper shells and was in a significant amount of liquid, not sauce liquid. The chicken was so overcooked, It was inedible. The pork fried rice was nothing to write home about is basically very plain, lacked pork, no egg, really just brown colored rice.(it was not brown rice) The wonton soup was lukewarm and the noodles were gummy on the outside and uncooked on the inside. The egg roll had a ton of some form of spice in it that was somewhat like blackpepper. It was so overpowering I couldn’t even finish the first bite. I was really looking forward to my lunch from David King. But not one item was edible. Why did I give it two stars? I did because the people there are super, their dining room is always clean, and the bathroom although on the tiny side is always immaculate.

Expensive and terrible food, they charged me $ 2 per soda can and when I asked about it, the woman at the desk started yelling«that’s the price, that’s the price!» I should’ve just left but I paid and even left a tip. My first inkling was right, I should’ve left because the food was terrible, the sesame chicken had no flavor whatsoever and was tough to even bite into and the egg roll tasted hard and old. I’m so sourly disappointed in this place, worse $ 32 I’ve ever spent! I don’t leave many reviews but this I had to say!

I was disappointed with the food quality here. Also, I ordered pickup but they came and delivered it to me, so I was forced to tip the delivery person as it was not his fault. I wish the food and communication was better as this place is really convenient to my apartment.

Good chinese takeout. Not too greasy(as far as chinese take out goes). They are very fast –I have never had an order take more than 10 minutes. The woman who answers the phone is super efficient. Orders come with a cup of canned pineapple which is odd, but overall very solid chinese take out.

To say I’m a big Chinese food eater would be an understatement that said I don’t like the hole in the walls were you order at the counter!!! Aberdeen’s is way over priced. Bao’s is good but a little pricy as well. Kings is just right not too expensive and the best service in white plains David and Sandy make you feel like your family!!! They always ask where my wife is or when my friends are coming back in and know who I am when I call to get take out. The food is what you’d expect from a great Chinese restaurant The best dishes are the wonton noodle soup, sesame shrimp, bean curd, dumplings my wife’s favorite and the egg rolls. They even go the extra mile when our dinner club come here as we are a large over ten people group. Thanks and keep up the great service David and Sandy!!!

David King is always our go-to for ordering delivery sushi. They have a buy 2 rolls, get 1 free deal– who can beat that?! Can’t speak to the Chinese food, but the sushi is always excellent. They have a very extensive menu too, which is great if you have a big group. A couple times the delivery has taken long, up to an hour(they estimate 30 – 45 minutes) but otherwise, this is a solid sushi spot especially for delivery.

Holy shit. I think David King is psychic! Our order came so fast that he must have known what we were ordering before we put it through. Lol no but seriously. Great quality, price and again, super fast delivery!

i ordered the delivery home — will not order again, its too overpriced for the bad food they serve. The food is tasteless, the soup didn’t have any meat at all(i paid almost 8 $ for it!!) and they gave me just water with some tiny hints of meat. Choose another delivery, don’t waste your money on this one

I’ve been cheating excessively for a while now. Not sticking to my diet, Ordering every weekend and sacrificing my waist line. The food was decent and the lunch specials were a steal. Until I found a 4 inch long, jet black strand of hair embedded in the ginger dressing of my salad. Gross. I will not order again.

Don’t do It. Just don’t. Food is overly saturated with msg or it’s too bland. Food is a little under cooked.

3.5 stars — MAX Food is just okay here. Ordered a general tso’s combination platter and it only comes with white rice. $ 2 or $ 3 extra for pork fried rice. Crab meat rangoon(only comes with 4) are tiny and extremely greasy. At a $ 1 a pop, they should have been heavenly. While the food was okay, it was not mindblowing chinese takeout. I did enjoy the little fresh fruit cup that was included — fresh pineapples, yum! Delivery was super fast and the delivery guy was very sweet. I would order from them again but this is definitely not my «go to» place.

I’ve ordered delivery twice from here. I ordered from the college about 10 minutes from there. The first time they were two hours and totally forgot about my order I had to call. When the guy got here I didn’t give a tip(of course) and he has the balls to be like no tip? How rude! The food was decent and nothing to get excited about. The second time I got delivery, the guy came in 45 minutes not that bad. But it was the same delivery guy as the last time and didn’t even offer change just left with my money! Ugh I can’t stand rude delivery people! This time the food was better I ordered the general tso chicken lunch with a soup and California roll. If you want something fast and you live at the colleges close to there, don’t order from there. Plus the food is ok at best and thy are really rude and slow.

This place is our go-to Chinese. It’s reasonably priced, the food is really good(not too greasy!), and the delivery is SOFAST(we always use grubhub). We are fans of the general tso chicken, the crispy beef, the cold sesame noodles, and the sushi is good too(not the best, but definitely good!). But seriously, the delivery is so fast. One time it was literally 15 minutes after we ordered. They even delivered to us in a snowstorm, and fast.

I order from this place every now and again because I am here in NY/CT area for a contract job and I don’t have a car. If I don’t go grocery shopping, I rely on food delivery. I use eat24 and I’ve noticed a lot of people on there suggest that their sushi is good and decently priced, but my experience is far from that… I might be spoiled because I am from Southern California, and out there, the food is EXCEPTIONALAND the cost is WAY less than ordering food out here. I don’t find the cost of their sushi reasonable ESPECIALLY considering the way it tastes. It’s extremely mediocre food and it’s price is greater than I think the food is worth. Although, that has been my general experience with most of the food in White Plains and Greenwich(aside from pizza… I will give you that…). Most of the food out here is ridiculously priced and the quality is very poor. Now, if the prices here are just indicative of the cost in this region of the country, then fine. It’s «cheap» relative to the surrounding area, and if you’re looking for your typical, mediocre take-out that is «cheap»… then this place is great for you. But aside from all of my spoiled brat complaining about the food quality, I think the thing I find the most offensive about this place is that every time I have ordered from here, the bag my food comes in smells like an ashtray. This may seem like a petty thing to complain about, but if you don’t smoke, you know how nasty cigarette smoke smells… Being that the food is not that great in the first place, the intense smell of cigarettes on my food(which generally overwhelms the smell of the food in the first place) does not help my appetite. I won’t be ordering from here again.
