Cold Stone Creamery

Was here a bit ago. Staff decided who they wanted to serve, was friendly to those and treated others with sour faces and attitudes. Often did not wear gloves while preparing orders. They wipe the counter with a soiled rag. I walked out long before it was my turn. I wasn’t going to review this place but a friend told me her experience and it was similar so I decided these were issues still going on, and need to be addressed.

Always loved Cold Stone but the women working there were, in my estimation, ridiculously rude. Never again with this location.
in short, they were unfriendly to the point of looking away when interacting, and pretty much ignored me for minutes as if I was invisible, when it was my turn on line.
But worse than all that was not getting what I ordered. I was handed cake batter ice cream with sprinkles when I asked for the birthday cake remix. i know it’s just ice cream but there was no fudge or brownie in it at all, which is the most delicious part, and when I mentioned not seeing or tasting any brownie their response was literally to stare at me, say it was made correctly and walk away.

Not what I was expecting my ice cream looked nothing like the pic nor did it taste like what I ordered. The place had a sour milk smell to it. Won’t be back at all.

This review is based solely off of customer service, these children are disrespectful, rude and heavily lack customer service skills, all while informing the new girl that she missed one of the ingredients in my order, her co-​workers came to her aide to defend her this would be all great but what about an apology or the mistake, no way he starts mouthing off indicating because she’s new I should know, well this is fine but mind your business because your not serving me, I watched this new employee as she prepared my order looking confused and not making it properly so I had every right to speak up, unfortunately instead of apologizing for any wrong doing, they immediately called on their mgr Diana who by all means made the situation even worst, I opted to walk out without my purchase, completely annoyed, I’m not sure what’s the requirements of the employees here customer service definitely not, there’s much more detail I will share with corporate, obviously something’s not right here a colds tone in downtown white plains with a 3 rating, everyone loves cold stone this location not so much

Ice cream is great — customer service not so great
Asked the server to put on gloves. He gave me a face. Then went on to tell all of his coworkers, which I can hear by the way, as I am waiting for him to put the gloves on. As he he mixing the ice cream, His coworker asked him «Is this the one who asked you to put on gloves?» Very unprofessional of him to have done that. I believe his name was Bryan.
If you work in an establishment which serves the public you should be professional and provide the service. Don’t take it personal if someone as you to put on gloves. I could have had food poisoning before? Or it could just be my personal preference? Or better yet I could be from the health department and just trying to see how you operate? You never know!

Came here to meet up with friends. Limited seating. Ordered the chocolate lava meltdown, with whipped cream, chocolate bits, and caramel sauce. Pretty good and satisfying for your sweet tooth.

Just went to this place at 11:55 and it was closed. Noticed on the sign it didn’t open until 12:00. At 12:05 I started knocking on the window and the two girls inside gave me dirty looks like I was intruding. They begrudgingly opened the door with sour looks on their faces so I left without buying anything. How would you like to be the owner of this store and the two people you are paying are scaring off customers. But they didn’t care that I walked away without getting anything! Less work for them. What’s wrong with this country?

Don’t bother with the hot desserts (just microwaved old brownies and cookies) but the ice cream is amazing. Haven’t tried the shakes yet, but the prices are not bad in comparison to other ice cream places. Great after dinner spot, especially with so much nearby.

I love cold stone. The ice cream was great and the staff is always friendly. I will be back. Always good times at Stone Cold!

Ice cream is good and service is great ! The cakes especially are beautiful and so delicious. Been coming back to this place to pick up cakes for all my events.

Do NOT EAT here! I got food poisoning from the ice-​cream at this exact cold stone. A week later my friend found a hair in her ice-​cream from this location. If you watch them clean the counters you will realize how unsanitary it is they clean it over and over again with the same filthy rag and that’s where they prepare the ice-​cream. They also put there hands on that counter and I am sure lean on it. I am not someone who is easily spooked by lack of cleanliness of restaurants because I realize that all places have there share of dirty secrets but I can’t look passed this cold-​stone. I recently was there with a friend and I was thinking of giving it a second chance and ignoring/​blaming something else for the food poisoning but when I went inside I was really grossed out. If you want coldstone good to a different location.

I had the Birthday cake remix and it was off the hook! This was my first time going to a cold stone.

Can’t get enough Cold Stone, the staff is always nice and the ice cream is always on point wether in a cup or in a shake.
