Meet the Business Owner
Mary Jo L.
Business Owner
The founder of Healing Waters, Mary Jo has 30 years experience in healing modalities with certifications in Neuromuscular Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, Lymph Drainage Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Trigger Point Therapy and Reiki. She is also an instructor of Infant Massage and Mindfulness Meditation. Mary Jo holds a Masters degree in Human Development. She has worked in both health club and clinic environments.
Prior to founding Healing Waters, Mary Jo was co-founder of Women’s Advocates, Inc. of St. Paul — the first shelter for victims of domestic abuse in the United States.
Mary Jo believes it is important to consider all aspects of your life when seeking to improve your health, including lifestyle, thoughts and beliefs as well as exercise and nutrition. The body often goes where the mind leads it.
