Upscale Consignment

This is by far one of the BEST consignment shops in Morris County! If you like designer clothes, shoes & handbags at a fraction of the cost, this is the place to shop. You will never be left second guessing your purchase. As a matter of fact this is the kind of store that if you see it and love it, you better buy it because it won’t be there when you go back! I shop this store frequently and have found «treasures» with each visit. The owner & her staff are attentive and accommodating.

HORRIBLE BUSINESS… This store should have negative ratings. This owner is one of the worst business owners I have ever dealt with. She seems very nice until you give her things to sell. I brought a ton of stuff to this store back in September/​October and when I filled out all the paper work I was told that the checks get sent out on the 15^th of every month for the previous month. Well at the end of December I call to see what’s going on if nothing is selling I would come and pick it up. The owner then tells me oh she doesn’t send the checks out on the 15^th I have to call to get paid. So I go into the store to collect my money and my things because obviously this is not very legit. When I get to the store she does give me cash and then tells me she needs at least 48 hours to pack up all my things, even though I could find all my things right there. I say fine and leave planning on coming back in 48 hours for my stuff. Well in those 48 hours the owner magically sold more of my stuff (honestly I think she just kept stuff) so now I’m owed more money when I really just wanted to be done with this horrible place. So now it’s the end of January and I call to see about my check and the owner laughs and says she lost the check, this is over 10 days past when the check was supposed to go out. Today I call and ask about the check because it’s been a week since the new check was «sent» and now I get told that she sent it to the wrong address! So I say I am on my way to the store because at this point this has gone on long enough. When I get there the owner by no means is apologetic but instead has an attitude with me and asks if I want cash or a check. Obviously after all of this I told her I wanted cash because it’s almost a month now since I should have had this money. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST OWNER EVER GO TO MORRISTOWN WHERE THEY ACTUALLY ARE PROFESSIONAL. Side note she is way over priced also one of the things I gave her was a faux fur guess scarf and she sold it for almost $ 100 I might have paid $ 30 for it new!!!
