History

Established in 1999.

Jodie O’Connor established her Interior Design firm, Jodie O’Designs in 1999. She received her B.A. at Seton Hall University, and attended Berkeley College of Interior Design. Her work is predominately in N.J., and she has also done some work in N.C., Florida and Las Vegas. Jodie specializes in exquisite window treatments, although her passion for design provides for a wide range of clients and projects.

Jodie’s passion for design surpasses any particular style. Her style reflects a distinct feel of refinement, with classic, eclectic touches. Jodie feels her most important skill is actively listening to her clients’ needs and desires.

Jodie has been chosen to be in many showcases, most recently the «Mansion in May», where she will be showcasing her room «Oprah’s Reading Room».

When working on new construction, Jodie works with the architect and contractors to make sure all the client’s needs or met.

Business Owner

Jodie O’Connor is an acclaimed interior designer whose work has been featured in Design NJ and NJ Countryside magazines, as well as in the high profile Designer Show house at the Mansion in Far Hills, New Jersey (where Jodie showcased «Oprah’s Reading Room» in May 2010).

A long-​time New Jersey resident, Jodie obtained a B.A. in English Literature from Seton Hall University. She also attended Berkeley School of Design in pursuit of a career in Interior Design.

Jodie specializes in full service design and staging, performed primarily via the design firm she founded in 2000, Jodie O’ Designs. Through Jodie O’ Designs, she provides a broad spectrum of services in New Jersey for residential as well as commercial projects (including commercial banks and a high-​end children’s clothing boutique). Her residential practice is known for its distinct combination of traditional appeal with contemporary overtones, providing a classic feel in a soothing and warmly understated manner.
