Shirley Nails

I went in last minute to Shirley’s to get acrylics for the new years. They were kind and greeted me, I was attended to right away! The woman who’s name I can’t remember, took her time and did a great job. I couldn’t be happier! After telling her about how I use contacts, she understood right away and I didn’t have to say anything else. She cut them down to the perfect size. I will definitely be coming back!

They picked out a great color for me ! They did the coloring and shaping perfectly, plus it was cheap. I am so impressed.

This business is hands down the best salon in the Buffalo Grove area. I even know people willing to drive from surrounding suburbs because of this salon’s customer service, personal touch, friendliness, and commitment to customer satisfaction. They are very reliable, regardless of who does your nails. They have a great local reputation and will make sure that you have an experience that makes you want to return. The owner/​manager Jeremy is amazing and is a very hard working man running this business to support his children and mother back in Vietnam. He cares about his customers and has personal relationships with them, even remembering details about what’s going on in your life and asking you about it. I wish I could do more to promote this nail salon because it is worth every penny spent there in comparison to others. They care about the quality and honesty of the work they do, not just about the money.

I have been a customer of Shirley’s since they opened. No salon in the area can provide excellent customer service and nails that look beautiful for 2 weeks or more like they can. I have used nail techs Jeremy (the owner) and Tony for years. They are quick and do immaculate work with nails. There is just no other salons I feel in the area that are as good as them. Great job Shirley’s!

Not the best place to get your nails done even technician did good job. Place is not the cleanest salon around and it smells bad. The stuff kept switching TV channels which was really annoing. The worst thing about that salon is really that smell!!! It smells like they have a mice.

Great SALON! A breath of fresh air! I am so happy I found this place after trying a few other «no so wonderful» nail salons in Wheeling. I’ve been here twice– the first time I say Ryan (I think…) for a pedicure and Rose the next for a Mani. Each time my nails turned out incredible!!! they have amazing colors and spend so much time making sure everything is done perfectly. The massages are to die for! I would spend the money just for their massages alone lol. Really really great salon, clean, up –to-​date, great massage chairs. Just perfect. Everyone is friendly and you don’t feel like they are talking about you in their own language (which i really appreciate as i find this at other nail salons quite often.)
Shirley’s is a GEM! Highly recommend.

Nice place. They took my cousin and I as walk ins right away. I am from San Diego and was pleased with the mani and pedi. They had a big screen TV with daytime shows. It was clean and the AC was on. I recommend this place.

Been going there for years now. Jeremy, the owner is also very nice and down to earth. Tony is your guy for no-​chip manicure! Make sure to book an app. first. Great service every time.
