Went there today for the first time and was disappointed. Their prices are very reasonable however most of the merchandise was garage sale quality, not what I was expecting for the location. It was very small and difficult to navigate. Found one item, a vintage Mother of Pearl Broach and matching earrings. May try it again after the holidays since they had a lot of Christmas things on display.

The prices here are super reasonable. I got two Lands End jackets, a North Face jacket and two pairs of jeans for under $ 20.00. Yes, you have to check the condition of the items, but if you look hard enough there are great deals to be had!

Located in a very charming part of town in Wheaton that borders Glen Ellen. I love that they take charge cards with NO minimums(because I always find myself without cash when I need it most) and its super cheap. I was expecting outrageous prices for kids clothing and toys because its a resale shop but surprisingly they were all $ 1 and under and the toys were $ 1.50-$ 3. There wasn’t a great selection of kids clothes and toys but at least they were extremely reasonable and cheaper than Savers and some garage sales. I bought a tent for my little one and some stuff for the kitchen and only spent $ 4! I would definitely stop by again when I’m in the neighborhood. The store is alot bigger than it looks from the outside. The staff is super nice and they have a little of everything for everyone. Must check it out!

Small but bright — convenient location. Like any resale store, hit or miss. Used to like stopping by here on the way home from downtown Wheaton, but getting tired of the sour attitude and sometimes downright rudeness of the manager lady there. I dread having any dealings with her. The volunteers are friendly though. Love the mission of the place but I just don’t enjoy shopping there anymore.

Not sure I’ll ever be back — manager was SORUDE! I drove a half hour because I enjoy browsing the resale shops in the Wheaton/Glen Ellyn area. I went there at 2pm and fell in a lounge couch. I said I wanted the piece, but I would need to call for a family member to pick it up. She told the young cashier, «No — do not take her money. You have to be able to take it with you and we close at 4.» I said I would call my family member. He could not pick it up until 3:30, so I waited around. At 3:15, she said, «In 10 minutes, were moving it.» This is after I had already paid it. She was so abrasive and rude. I understand she wanted to be out a 4pm on a Saturday, but she could have been nicer. Will not be back — there are plenty of other shops that will take my money and can hold a piece furniture either for a few hours or overnight.

this place has a decent variety of home items and clothing. The prices seems inexpensive and the place was very clean and well-organized. I was looking for some artwork to hang but I did not find anything that I liked on this visit but it is definitely a resale shop that I would return to.

This place is pretty decent. Clothes are well organized and it’s very clean. Theres also a dressing room. I left with a book and a couple household items. Everything is very well priced. It’s located right by the metra station. Definitely worth a quick stop in.

I love this place! This is my #1 favorite thrift store. I continually find a variety of high quality goods(Patagonia jacket on clearance $ 3.00, Italian leather shoes $ 4.00, stain glass lamp $ 12), at low prices in this cozy little thrift store. No returns. Despite it usually being busy, I have found the staff kind and most helpful. The Christian music is uplifting and pleasant. The 1st day of each month a new color tag goes on sale at 50% off. Don’t miss the Stars Radio Show fundraiser in February( for details). It is fun, well done, and FREE, but they do expect a donation — come early to get a seat. The church was packed when we went last year. I just discovered a few steps down the sidewalk from Stars Resale Store is a high quality baby/children’s thrift store, and also a few steps down the sidewalk is a high end looking home décor thrift store where the owner has excellent taste and sells these used home accessory pieces at reasonable prices. After making my way shopping down the sidewalk, I stop at the café at the end of the sidewalk for a quick snack. A fun way to spend the day is, shopping these stores located just a few steps from each other then take a very short drive down College Ave. to Wheaton College campus to the AMAZING Billy Graham Museum(College Ave.) and the Wade Center(Lincoln Ave.) where you can see at the Wade Center C.S. Lewis’ grandfather’s wardrobe that inspired him to write The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe — Admission to both is FREE. The cafeteria at Wheaton College has won awards for having some of the best food on US college campus. Anyone can eat there and the price for all you can eat is less than $ 10.

Small church-run thrift shop near the train station. Books roughly organized by subject; clothing roughly organized by type/size; some shoes. Adult paperbacks, 50 cents, hardcover $ 1. Surprisingly large selection of glassware; very cheap small suitcases, laptop bags. Several apparently new Paula Young wigs when I visited. Dressing rooms available. The sale of items donated to STARS benefit and support its Family Services, which help intellectually disabled adults. Slightly intrusive religious music, religious slogans chalked on the walls and a definite religious slant to the books. Worth a quick browse if you get to the train station and need to kill some time.
