Specialties
We specialize in private and group music lessons for all ages. We teach piano, guitar, viola/violin, cello, all band instruments, fiddle, voice, percussion and special needs students. Our teachers are highly educated — most with at least a master’s degree in their field. The lessons are taught in beautiful spacious studios with excellent pianos and comfortable waiting areas.
History
Established in 1987.
I began my studio after completing my master’s degree in piano performance from NIU in 1987. I moved to my first commercial space on Main St. Wheaton in 2005 and moved to my current location in 2011. We grew from just me teaching to now having 17 teachers.

Business Owner
I studied piano performance & pedagogy (teaching) at Hope college where I received a bachelor of music degree, then went on to study piano performance and pedagogy at NIU where I got a Master of Music and Master of Arts degree.
I won the National Piano foundation group piano teaching award in 2003 — one of only 5 teachers in the nation to win this award. I write new music reviews for Clavier Companion — a highly respected music magazine/journal. I’m an active member of the Illinois State Music Teachers Association and the National Music Teachers’ Association where I am a permanently certified teacher. I teach private piano and group piano lessons as well as camps. I currently teach over 50 students each week and manage the studio’s of the other 16 teachers at Noteable Notes.
