Love, love, loved this salon! Has a great vibe and is very welcoming. Rachel did highlights and a cut and made my hair look fantastic! She is a Redken certified stylist — which made me confident in her abilities. I always appreciate a clean, friendly, skilled salon. I highly recommend Mitchell Christopher Salon. The salon is friendly, welcoming and has a homey quality to it. I, like other reviewers, grabbed a groupon for a color and cut. I should have called the salon to see if the stylist who would be doing my hair was comfortable with curly hair. I didn’t and bought for a cut and color touch up. The color is great. The cut is the second worst cut I have ever received. From what I seen in the salon, there are great stylist doing great work on hair. I would make sure you ask for someone who is a seasoned professional.

Went here based on previous Unilocal reviews. The stylist was polite, professional, and very efficient. Got a wash, cut, and style in 30 minutes flat, and loved the cut that I left with. Will absolutely be coming here again.

Grabbed a groupon and got in the same day. Jessica was really friendly and was fun to chat with!

I found this salon on Groupon and I’m glad I did! Jessica did an amazing job, this is the best haircut I have had in a long time. Everyone was very nice, it is clean and we’ll managed. Definitely recommend this salon I had a great experience! The welcome bag and half on the next haircut with a referral who would get half off as well is an added bonus and nice touch! I’ll be sending my sister here next!

I went in on Thursday with a Groupon not expecting too much. But I checked Unilocal several times over 2 weeks so I had some piece of mind.
One item that I didn’t like was in the deal rules it states you have to advise them you are using a Groupon. That’s the only reason why I am giving them one star off. I wish there was a way to only give a half star off but Unilocal doesn’t have it. This rule gave me the impression that you will be judged before you even get in the door. Why do you have only certain kinds of stylist or time slots.
Fortunately for me I got an awesome stylist Jessica! She was very nice and listen. I came with a picture and she did a very good job of matching it. She did ask not once but twice about the length. Making it my decision to go long or short. Several days later I wish that I went a bit shorter but I don’t know what their policy on that. Don’t want to spend $$ to go less than an inch shorter. If this review was only about Jessica it would be a 5.
My advice is to take the step. Buy the Groupon and see if you can ask for Jessica.

I saw that most people enjoyed this salon so I decided to get the groupon and give it a try. I loved the experience! Everyone was very nice from the moment I walked in. I was taken very promptly. I have never been here before and Taylor cut my hair. She was very friendly, very attentive, and did an amazing job on my hair. She went above and beyond and spent quite a bit of time styling my hair and showing me the best ways to recreate the look on my own. I would highly recommend this salon and Taylor as well! I will definitely be returning!

Got the groupon and wasn’t disappointed. The salon is neat and cute and they are very polite! I was able to come in the same day and got a haircut with Jessica. She did a great job! Usually when I go for a trim i ask for a V shape in the back with my long layers, in the end everyone gives me a U shape and say they cant do it the way i like it. Well Jessica gave me the shape i wanted and also gave me tips on how to take care of my hair better :)

Hands down Lisa Ellebruch Bryant is great with kids, she’s very friendly, kind and patience while working with Kids.
If you are looking for one that understands mix textured hair, and or if you want just a simple trim/​trim look no further. Lisa is your gal.
She is knowledgeable on kids with mix textured hair. My nieces absolutely love Lisa and love what she did with their hair. We will definitely be back — school pictures are coming up soon.
The salon itself is clean, organize and pretty. The girls love the lemon water that they had to offer.

I’ve been going to Lisa at Mitchell Christopher for almost 3 years. I always love my hair when I leave. I like to change it up often. She works with me while I change my mind repeatedly growing it out and then cutting it short again. The key is good communication with your stylist. Lisa is very personable. The prices are much higher here than what I’m used (in Ohio) but worth every penny.

Just relocated from Orlando. When we signed the lease in our new apartment,(Wheaton 121) gave us the coupon for this salon, so i thought let me give it a try.
I had a wonderful experience, i love my stylist Lisa, she was very friendly and easy to talk to. She did a great job with my haircut and hair color. Price is very reasonable, place is clean. Its going to be my third time to go there since I’m calling again for an appointment as I am writing this review.

I have been going to Mitchell Christopher for about 12 years. I would recommend Chris to anyone! I am that client who never knows what she wants, and Chris somehow knows exactly what I want, even when I don’t have a clue. The staff at Mitchell Christopher is ALWAYS nice and helpful. Theresa has excellent customer service skills and Chris will keep you laughing throughout your visit. Scheduling with Chris is usually pretty simple, once you get her days down and I am in and out in no time. I am not much of a «girly girl» so I tell Chris, do whatever you would like, and every time, I love it! She also waxes my eyebrows, pain free and super fast! I live in Chicago and will make trips back to the suburbs just so I can go to Chris for my hair cuts and eyebrows.

I went in to see if anyone was available for a leg wax. They took me within 5 minutes. Very nice atmosphere. I was extremely comfortable and at ease. This was my first visit and I fully intend to return for all my waxing in the future. What a pleasant experience.

I love my stylist, Lisa! I had to find a new salon due to moving and was sad to leave the girl I’d seen for the past 4 years! No worries, though! Lisa did a great job on my cut and highlights and was able to fix some hair that had been over-​processed with a glaze. My hair looked great and it didn’t break the bank. Their prices are very reasonable and I got a ton of goodies! I’ve been back since and walk out a very happy customer each time!

I had a horrible experience here. I desperately needed a cut but didn’t want to go too short pre-​wedding. I don’t remember the girl’s name I got but she did nothing with my hair and charged me $ 50. Literally she may have snipped a few split ends and that was it. She didn’t even wash it. When I mentioned the discount for first time clients when checking out it must have been overheard. Admittedly, I should have been more aggressive about expressing my displeasure but I really couldn’t believe I was being charged that much for that little. I definitely will be sticking to my regular salon, even though it means going back into the city for cuts.

I’ve been going to Chris for YEARS and she’s amazing! All the stylists are great, but you know you found a good salon when you can walkin with NO IDEA what you want, and walk out with an amazing cut/​color/​style every time! The stylists are so nice and down to earth, and it’s a great atmosphere to get pampered.

I had a fabulous experience getting my hair cut at Mitchell Christopher salon last week. My hair stylist that I’ve gone to forever recently moved to California, so I had to buck up and find a new place to go. I was very impressed with my stylist Lisa, she was easy to talk to, had a great sense of what I wanted.
I’m very happy with my haircut, and I think my super picky husband, who blow dries, straightens, and uses more products on his hair than I do on his hair everyday was as impressed as I was, and I think Mitchell Christopher will now be his salon of choice.
The pricing was very reasonable, and they have some great specials on their website. I also received an email from the owner a few days later with another special offer. Very nice! I also left the salon with a little goodie bag full of new products to try. I was impressed, I’ll be back for sure.

I had a haircut there yesterday and paid about half what I used to pay at a fancy salon and got a great cut. I had no problem getting a convenient appointment and the people were really nice and lacked pretention which is fantastic.

Kevin rocks the suburbs. He consistenly does a great job with color. Ladies — you know how hard this is to find. His color *always* comes out great. Plus he listens to what you want, then also reads between the lines to identify what your daily schedule allows for in terms of styling time (basically, is it a style you can live with and reproduce everyday).
