Cj’s is the best. James has been cutting my hair since I was a baby! The location is great and parking is almost always easy to find, just make sure you pay the meter! Gia is a wonderful addition to the team and she is fantastic at what she does. I would recommend both of James and Gia, and their services, to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming and clean salon environment with friendly and hospitable staff :)

CJ’s Salon is located in downtown Wheaton, across from the train station. It has limited parking spaces outside, but that isn’t a problem for me since I usually go later in the evening (around 6pm most of the time).
The salon itself is a converted basement, giving it a comforting, homey feel. As soon as I walk in, I feel safe and relaxed. It has a chill vibe to it, which is perfect for the first-​time customer.
The staff are very friendly, never grinning or looking like they don’t want to be there. They keep appropriate conversation and never have anything bad to say.
The reason I go to CJ’s Salon is for professional hair stylist, Drew Martin. I’ve been a customer of his (I’m a 20 year old male) for over 10 years now, and not once have I received a haircut I didn’t like. I’ve gone in for simple trims, as well as styling cuts, and I’ve been satisfied with both. For $ 25 (plus a 5 dollar tip, so $ 30), you really get your moneys worth for the experience, and the haircut.
Drew uses a styling product by Michael O’Rourke and it holds my hair in place all day. Even after sweating, my hair keeps its hold because of his product.
I highly recommend seeing Drew for the best ‘do’ you have ever had!
