There’s so many nail salons in this area that it’s hard to know which one to choose. I came in for a no chip(walk in– no appointment necessary) I have very brittle nails that always break, so my nails are usually extremely short. I know, I know. I REALLY need to take some vitamins to help with this problem. As a result, I found that my nails were cut almost too short, to a degree that it was painful. The woman spent a fair amount of time on my cuticles. In fact, she did them 3 different times. I’ve got a no-chip a handful of times before and I’ve never left one with my hands sore for days until now. The nails themselves and the cuticles felt raw until they grew back a little. The good– the girl doing my nails was nice and my no chip lasted longer than other locations– well over the two weeks that I’ve got with other places. As far as would I come back, I’d probably give them another shot in hopes that my cuticles weren’t cut so much. It seems that others have had good experiences so it might just be my crappy nails.

Best place for a cost-effective mani/pedi in Wheaton! Clean & organized shop. Nice and careful technicians. They seem to «paint in the lines» better than the higher-end salons in the area… And for less $!

I hate leaving bad reviews but my experience here was the worst I’ve ever had. The place is small, looked pretty clean and right off of Roosevelt in a tiny strip mall. Every one was really nice and it was really cheap. I think my tech was new because she cut me multiple times, was super rough and took over an hour to do a fill. She nicked me with the dremmel and I started to bleed pretty bad and to stop the bleeding she dabbed it with an oil brush and then put the oil brush back in the oil… with my blood on it. The acrylic looked nice once she was done but then she put 5 coats of polish on it and that ruined it. It looks horrible and after only a week of having them done I’m going to get a fill already. And for some reason one of the girls thought it was ok to pop her pimples in the mirror at the front desk in front of everyone and then run people’s credit cards. Disgusting.

Greatest experience at a nail salon. Very picky girl here and have tried others in the area, but these gals know how. Went to «fancier» nail salon across the street, have paid twice as much for less care and quality. Walk in, took me immediately, on a Saturday morning, promised me a Mani/pedi in 35 min and it took that long exactly, without feeling rushed or skimped out on the quality. My feet have never felt softer after a pedi! So happy I found this place and will be returning.

Mai lin and Ana are awesome! Seriously the BEST $ 35 I’ve spent in a LOOONG time! I came in here purely by accident. I had to use the bathroom and the 7 – 11 was locked(I guess their cashier had to go somewhere??) And these nice ladies were the only ones who would let me use their restroom. It had been a while since I’d had a pedicure, so I figured I’d stop and get one. It was late in the evening, approaching 8 pm but they were happy to give me a pedicure. Now, most places I go to, for a $ 25 pedicure, you get the simplest, quick scrub, rub and paint you can… but not here! Even at the end of the evening, I got something like a 45 minute pedicure and it was the BEST one I’ve ever had. My feet felt AMAZING and they did an excellent job rubbing and scrubbing my legs and feet. It was actually a massage, not just cleanup, clip and paint. Fabulous and looks beautiful too! I decided to add on a manicure for $ 10(Save $ 2 when you do them both) and this is the price ALWAYS. Some nail shops are cheaper on a weekday, but this place has this low price all the time, from what they tell me. I type a lot at work and don’t usually spend the time/money/effort on getting my nails done. But they did a very nice job, clipping close and painting clear and my hands feel fabulous now too. They even massage your hands! The girls don’t speak much English, but they really tried! There was only one other customer in here so I thought I would try to strike up a conversation with them. Usually, at a nail shop, I’ve found that the workers like to speak to each other in their native language… They do here, as well, but I engaged them in conversation and they really tried their best to hold a conversation with me. There was a language barrier, and I can’t really blame them for that, but I give them kudos for at least trying and being very friendly. This place isn’t really very local to me, but I will definitely go out of my way to get my toes done here! I highly recommend it!

I love C & D! I stumbled upon it about a 2 years ago while out shopping and was thrilled. The ladies who work there are very friendly and accomodating. For example, they will rush to get you a little side table to set next to your chair if you walk in with a drink. And don’t expect to get rushed through here like you might at similar walk-in nail salons. For $ 25(the rate as of Dec 2011) you can expect to get at least a 45 minute pedi, if not longer. My old nail salon had me out the door in 30 minutes every time. They also do an amazing job on kids. I have taken my 8 year old daughter there many times and she always gets treated like a princess. They will paint they most beautiful, dainty designs on their nails at no extra charge.(Actually, if you don’t want a design on your child, say so, because they usually assume.) Although my daughter has only been there about 4 times they always act like they’re so happy to see her, and I think they really are. My old salon was 2 minutes from my house, but now I drive about 15 to C & D, and will continue doing so. Like I said, I love it!

I had a pedicure here and found it to be more invigorating than the moer expensive spas out in the burbs. I paid $ 25, and had about 45 min ped with skin scrub, foot massage, and the works. I like this place, you might too.

Their prices are fairly good($ 50 for mani/pedi with design) and my «artist» was very nice, but she could barely speak English and she kind of messed up my design! I was heading to a party and I was wearing a black dress with a band around the waist that was red with black polka-dots. So I wanted her to do my nails red with black polka-dots. She made the dots too small on my toes, but it didn’t look too bad so I didn’t ask her to re-do it… I just asked her to make the dots bigger on my fingernails. She nodded her head and said«yeah, yeah, polka dots»… then grabbed the thing and went to town. Needless to say, she made them the same size. I figured getting mad would be pointless… she didn’t understand me the first time around, why would the second be any different? I wasn’t really happy with the design, naturally, but it looked so-so. I figured it wasn’t worth the hassle. Then she brought me to sit down and let my nails dry. She put my shoes back on for me, but because she hadn’t checked to see if my toenails were actually DRY, it completely messed up the polish on my toes. She saw this through the opening in the front of my shoes and tried to fix it. I figured she could see better than I could from my angle and so could make sure that the rest of the toenails weren’t messed up(after all, just because she couldn’t speak much English, it doesn’t mean she’s an idiot) so I thought she fixed it all, but when I got to the party and took my shoes off, on all but the very tips of my big toenails the polish had been scraped off. So I basically paid $ 50 to walk around the party all night looking like a drunk person had done my toenails and a swarm of ladybugs had attacked my fingers!
