I make hand-​pressed ceramic art tiles and address tiles, fused glass dishware, handmade kaleidoscopes, and various other pieces of artwork that enhance home design. Art & Glass is now also home to others artists, featuring a retail Art Gallery showcasing many mediums. Only the highest quality of craftsmanship and handmade art pieces are to be found here.

My colleagues and I are available to do commissioned work such as paintings or charcoal portraits, custom furniture or jewelry, and any number of unique art installations for the home involving carpentry skills.

History

Established in 1999.

After operating as a home-​based business for nearly 17 years, in 2014 I’ve stepped up the operation and expanded by opening a retail storefront. It is a working art & stained glass design studio, with a retail art gallery in the front, showcasing not just my own work but a very small hand-​picked group of other artists in various mediums.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Art & Glass Studio is the work of local artist Law Sedory.

His work is influenced by the Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Craftsman, and Prairie School

styles, among others. Law studied at the American Academy of Art in Chicago and

holds degrees in both Fine and Graphic arts. He has done restoration work on Frank

Lloyd Wright homes in the area and continues to hone his crafts along with learning

new ones, such as blacksmithing.

A broad range of design styles executed in painting, drawing, pottery work,

glass, and more, culminate in the Studio’s output.

He also possesses a great love of nature which can not only be found in much of the work,

but dedication to conserving our natural resources are practiced in the studio through

strict recycling practices and use of materials.
