I don’t know that I can speak highly enough of this place.
My husband and I stopped in after a week-​long battle with an awful stomach bug, looking for a light, healthy option. Smoothies were about the only thing that sounded good. It’s a cute little spot! We were lucky enough to come in when one of the owners was working. I had a Peanut Butter and Jelly smoothie (Peanut butter, banana, almonds, almond milk and strawberries. My husband got the Blue Dream, add strawberries and raspberries.
Both were SO GOOD. It was really nice to be able to talk to Josh. I love his aspirations for coming to such a beautiful state, his passion for healthy food and wellness.
I HIGHLY recommend stopping in and trying a smoothie! (All of which are customize able, btw)

Staff is incredibly nice and welcoming — they make it feel infinitely better than an experience you’d have at somewhere like Jamba Juice.
Smoothies are creative and have choices that would fit all types of preferences!

I had the sweet potato smoothie, which sounds odd, but is so delicious! I’ve been here three times, the staff is always friendly, the smoothies are delicious, and it’s a good experience!

Wanting a little refreshment after a long hike today, thru a Unilocal search actually, I thought this place sounded right up my alley! And I was right!
After reading raves on the sweet potato paleo smoothie I had to try it and I’m glad I did! Whoever thought to combine sweet potato, coconut milk, and cinnamon is a genius. It’s outta this world!
The dude working the counter was super cool too! I’m here visiting from Chicago and will definitely stop back before I go back home and try something else!

My husband and I went in yesterday to try this place out, we always drive by it and decided to finally give it a try. I was amazingly surprised on how much I enjoyed my smoothie! I got the Lean Green with protein, and it was delicious! I think the prices are reasonable where they stand now, hopefully they will not go up. They have coffee for only $ 1, which was really good. We definitely plan on going back again, as a matter of fact, I am craving one now and might just swing by again lol

Absolutely Love these Guys! The Takes Two to Mango is my favorite! Try it with some strawberries too!

We stopped in on an unseasonably hot October Saturday, and were glad that we did. The place is a bit rough, but the owner is friendly and accommodating, and the smoothies are made with real fruit and really good. Substitutions are welcome, prices are about what I’d expect ($ 4 for a 16 oz smoothie) and we were able to hang out and play some board games while relaxing in air conditioned comfort.
I’ll be back for sure.

The owners are so friendly and their product is off the hook. I went in today for the first time with my family. My husband got the peanut butter, my sister wife (best friend; third wheel) got the seasonal beat and I had the lean green kale beverage. All were delectable. Not too sweet not too bitter and clearly made with love.
I will be frequenting this establishment!

I heard about this place from other Unilocalers, and bookmarked it with the intent of checking it out at some point. After a long walk at Sloan’s Lake this morning, I was pleasantly surprised to realize Twisted Smoothie is just a few blocks away, so I stopped by– and am so glad I did!
First off, don’t miss this place! It looks totally unassuming in a little strip mall off 29^th Ave. But the smoothies don’t disappoint! They are mindful of using high quality, healthy ingredients and can make adjustments based on any personal preferences or dietary requirements you may have. I tried the Sweet Potato Paleo– sweet potato, cinnamon, and coconut milk. Wow. I never imagined putting sweet potato in a smoothie before, but I’m so glad I tried it. It was delicious and refreshing, with just the right amount of flavor and sweetness. Kind of like drinking an icy cold, creamy, sweet potato Thanksgiving dish… in the best possible way.
Service is super friendly and accommodating, and although I took my smoothie to go, there were big leather couches and tables. This would be a great place to chat with a friend or read a book. I’m thinking I might have a new weekend spot to get a cool drink after a Sloan’s Lake workout. So glad I discovered this gem!

I had to stop back in before heading home. This is the best smoothie spot in the Denver area! All natural ingredients and very fresh juices. The staff is super friendly, Josh is the coolest smoothie dude. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone. The sweet potato paleo is amazing! And my boyfriend loved the seasonal. Will be coming back to visit for more deliciousness!

I had a smoothie here a year ago and still think about it. This smoothie was the only time I have ever liked kale, that’s how good they are.

Delicious smoothie and great vibe at this place! The guy that made my smoothie was working on a painting when I walked in, most of the artwork on the walls belong to him. He was super friendly and promptly walked behind the counter to help me when I came in. Awesome art, chill space, friendly staff, delicious smoothie :)

Typically I can’t drink juice or a smoothie due to the sweetness. I drank all my colada smoothie! It wasn’t too sweet in the least bit. With the added protein I wasn’t hungry for hours!

This smoothie shop is so well hidden, I almost couldn’t find it. You walk into a no frills shop that has a simple counter & sterile vibe. The other 50% of the shop seemed to be an art studio — as in art supplies, half finished paintings, etc. The menu is tiny with half a dozen smoothies and the same amount of bakes goods, but they make a damn good smoothie!
I ordered the Peaches & Cream smoothie & chatted with the chef, Josh, as I waited. Got to hear how Josh bakes all their bakery items himself and the shop is basically run by him & his partner. My smoothie was second to none, but it was also clear that Josh cares greatly about quality & customer satisfaction.

Stopped in for a Lean Green smoothie the other day. The smoothie is kale, strawberry, and apple juice. The owner even suggested adding a little ginger, on the house, for flavor. The smoothie was delicious and the ginger really added a kick without being overpowering.
The owner was very friendly and said the smoothies can be customized to each customer’s liking, he even asked me to try it before leaving as to make sure I liked it and it wasn’t too sweet. The price was fair considering the size of the smoothie and quality of the ingredients.
As far as I can tell real fresh fruits and veggies are used instead of sugary concentrates and juices like some places (rhymes with mamba and spruce) that I’ve been to.
Check this place out! Between the high quality ingredients and awesome customer service, you won’t be disappointed!

Visited Twisted Smoothie for the first time today and I have nothing but great things to say about this place! I got the sweet potato paleo smoothie and I am already craving more. I also got the banana bread which was warmed up for me and it was delicious. Josh was working there and he was so kind and friendly, I enjoyed talking with him about his artwork on the walls and I left with a print of one of his pieces! Great atmosphere, awesome smoothies and food. I can’t wait to go back again and again!

Delicious soup and really friendly service. The smoothie shop is located in a really cute area of wheat ridge and close to cool local businesses.

Super cute little place nearby and was exactly what I was looking for when I was under the weather. I am so glad to be able to support local businesses and not the corporate giants like those you can find elsewhere. I went here after my doctor recommended getting a smoothie with protein so I had food in my stomach since I was unable to ingest solid foods at that time. I found this place after reading all the great reviews on here and decided to drive over and check it out myself.
It is located in a little shopping area in the Edgewater neighborhood right next to a butcher shop that my friends have raved about. I walked in to the cozy little shop and the guy running the place couldn’t have been any nicer. I think he may have been a little taken aback with how miserable I was feeling, but I was hoping his smoothie would do the trick to make me start feeling better. I left ordering the blueberry smoothie and it was exactly what the doctor ordered. So tasty! Also, I love the fact that they have paleo and gluten free options as I will definitely be back to try their sweet potato smoothie soon. Keep up the good work!

I was so excited to find this place! I am always looking for healthier food options — such as smoothies, soups, salads and snacks — which is exactly what Twisted Smoothie offers (salads to be offered soon).
The smoothies are extremely fresh and tasty. They are made with fresh whole fruits, vegetables and juices, and are *not* saturated with sugar or sugar-​laden products. There are tasty add-​ins as well, such as chia seeds, flax, kale, yogurt and a variety of fruits. Healthy snacks are also offered, such as muffins and bars.
I asked about the sourcing of their fruits and vegetables and was told that they are organic whenever possible and typically sourced locally, which I very VERY much appreciate. Organic, non-​GMO, local, clean whole foods — this is where it’s at.
The smoothie-​crafter (chef Josh) clearly takes great pride in what he’s doing. He experiments with various flavor blends in an attempt to provide new and exciting nutritionally-​dense and tasty drinks.
I highly recommend this place.
