Dear Smashburger,
You have a huge problem at this store: Curtis isn’t making enough money. I don’t even know how much he makes, but he deserves more. He’s the reason I eat at this smashburger. Honestly I’ve been to other locations with less than satisfying customer service, but here? I’m treated like a king by the immaculate Curtis. He’s a gem, and if you’re not careful, I’ll find a way to steal him for my own business and pay him a million every year. Seriously, give him a raise. Also, the Colorado burger is dope. Oreo shakes too.

Got violently ill last Sunday after eating here. The cooks probably are not handling food correctly. Within hours I became feverish and nauseous. At 3am I was kissing the porcelain God. Furthermore I emailed the company with no response as if they could care less. Obviously they could care less about kitchen sanitation. At least the people on top are making their money over there while I’m flushing my non digestible meal. It’s not even easy to find the link to complain about this. Never again.

We were on our way to Avon and dropped in for a quick bite. At 1pm, the que inside was looong! We almost left but it cleared quite fast. I had the Colorado crispy chicken burger — one of the best I’ve had. The rest of the family had the beef burgers and liked them. Smash fries were so-​so; wouldn’t do them again.

Bleh, I always forget I can’t handle eating a whole burger here. The fried pickles are good but intense and the shakes are good. The employees are friendly and the place clean, it is odd how narrow the restaurant is though.

Very friendly manager and staff, everything was clean and service was quick. The Colorado burger was fantastic, and everything tasted very fresh except the tomato, which was a bit pale and tough — but it is mid-​November.
I was really impressed with their to-​go packaging being a hard sided plastic container for the burger, instead of smashing it into a soggy mess in foil or paper wrapping like most burger chains. Thanks for the burger that was still attractive and delicious by the time I got home with it! Will definitely be back!

Friendly staff. The food was good. It took a while to get it. As far as the inside of location, somewhat dirty and I’ve never been to a place where it had sooooo many flies inside and outside eating area. It was so uncomfortable to eat there.

The Classic burger was good and hot and haystack onions were very good but seems to be a «no thank you» helping. The flies were very annoying. I have never been to a indoor restaurant in a long time with so many flies. We were constantly swatting them while eating. Something needs to be done before we ever think of going back.

This is our second time eating at smash burger, we love this place Curtis made us feel at home, we told him about our experience the night before at 5 guys burgers and how it was not what we expected and how the burgers where not that good and how we wished we would have come to smash burger instead and Curtis said we’ll your here now and you know the better burger and the better prices that did not cost us over 80 .00 to eat thanks Curtis and thanks you smash burger we will return for a third time. Good for a quick meal and with all the locations they’re not hard to find. We were close by the Wheat Ridge location and beat the dinner crowd. The Colorado burger was juicy and filling along side the sweet potato fries nice and hot. Atmosphere not anything to write home about but who goes to Smashburger for ambiance anyway.

Filthy. Unfortunately didn’t notice this until after my family had ordered our food and sat down. Grill? Disgusting. Greasy with burnt food bits. Found a hair in my grilled chicken sandwich. Don’t go there.

I usually enjoy Smashburger, but this location’s service was terrible. Hardly anyone in the restaurant & it took 5 minutes for someone to come to the register & just stare at me. I had to ask if they were ready to take my order. I don’t know if it was the teenage staff or just me. Never coming back to this one.

As me and my buddy sit eating our food we noticed that two other people brought their food back cause it was not correct which one of them touched their burger and ate some fries before returning it. The food sat on the counter for a few minutes and got re-​delivered to some other people. Gross. Last time I eat here.

I love the burgers at smashburger. Not much else to say about them other than they are great and this is a nice clean location. But dear Lord, the music they play rather loudly is just awful. I think it may be top 40? computerized crap that makes me glad I’m not epileptic or I’d probably have a freaking seizure. Is this important to me? Yes. Does it make me run for the door? Yes. Is that the reason they play it so loudly? Probably. Five Guys doesn’t have this problem.

Holy delicious burger! Amazing. It was fresh, quick and delicious. I had smash fries and the spicy baja burger. You just have to get smash fries — olive oil and rosemary together. A little greasy but oh well. The jalapeños on my burger weren’t as hot as I would have liked, but again, I quickly got over it.
I wish they had this on the east coast.

But filthy, run down, with idiotic lines out the door, rude employees, and incompetent management definitely fit the bill.
See the photo of the «dip your dirty hands in the communal ice bucket» station for drinks. Add to that the 25+ minute wait to NOT get food? And then 10 more while FIVE EMPLOYEES figure out how to give a refund?
