I gave this locations multiple times to provide ANY customer service. They continue to fail every time. They have never been earlier than 30min late. Not only do they fail at customer service they like to argue on the phone and make their problems become yours. I called giving them a chance to fix a delivery that never showed. Instead of calling to inform me there was an issue they just deleted the order. The issue was caused by the papa johns’s app. Which was actually addressed in the latest update. When I called to find out where the delivery was they put all the blame on me and got extremely accusatory. Will never order from this location again.

Peyton Manning must own this location because they keep coming up short. There has been several times I’ve ordered and haven’t gotten my food because the lady was in a trailer park which I’m not sure where that is even at. The other times they might has well not show up because they are always 20 – 40 minutes later then the predicted time frame or they forget half the order. 1 star from internet convenience, 2 star for quality, 3 star for service(always friendly, but I would expect that when they’re always late and never right).

I should have listened to the reviews but it was fantasy football draft night and this was the closest one to my work. The staff was nice and friendly but it seems they make their pizza different than other places. I love the Chicken Parm pizza that came out a few months ago. So i ordered that and then a meat lovers specialty pizza. The chicken parm was weird. As the chicken was just in chunks. Everytime i have ordered it from my «usual» places they are in strips so it caught me off guard. Second i get the cheese sauce 90% of the time. Its call cheese sauce not cheese liquid. Not sure how they store their«sauce» but when i opened it up it was so liquidy it was disgusting and threw them out. The pizza was good but the sauce ruined it for me if that makes any sense.

I love Papa John’s pizza, but when you pull up to this Papa Johns and one of the employees that makes the pizza is smoking cigarette outside of the front door, while holding the door open, pizza really doesn’t sound that appetizing. The store is filthy a smells… probably due to the fact of cigarette smoke being blown inside.

I’ve ordered from here a few more times since my previous review. I know, I know… it’s corporate pizza, but I still think it’s the best of the bunch as far as larger chains go. However, there are a few more tidbits I ought to tell you. I’ve been debating on confessing this, but I have to share, even though it’s kind of trashy. OK, it’s totally trashy. But, trashy confessions are fun AND juicy, so here ya go boys and girls: I am kind of obsessed with chicken wings, and I have to say, I think Papa Johns may have some of, if not THE, best in Denver. I know… you’re shocked. So am I, but it’s legitimately true. If they’re not the best, then they’re top 3 – 5 for sure. I have other friends who I dine with frequently who agree. I’m tellin’ you, you’ve gotta try them sometime(the standard spicy buffalo version). Don’t judge me. Stop it, you’re judging. STOPIT. PS — I earlier noted that toppings were somewhat sparse on the pizzas. That was absolutely NOT the case the last few times I ordered from there. The toppings were plentiful, and they even heeded special requests like«extra sauce» beautifully. Damn it, stop judging me.

First of all, I’m not Unilocaling specifically about this location, because I’m sure they’re all pretty similar. I don’t typically eat Papa John’s pizza. I know the crust tastes like cardboard, and the toppings are low quality. No big deal. You want cheap delivery pizza, you get what you pay for. I usually stay away. But I recently made a mistake and took advantage of their current $ 10 large pizza special. I was prepared for relatively bad pizza, and just wanted something cheap and quick. What I received was a pizza that had so few toppings on it that it actually ticked me off eating it. This, I remembered, is why I don’t order cheap delivery pizza in Denver. My «sausage» pizza was lucky to have even one piece of sausage per piece. That’s ridiculous! Hey Papa John’s, I honestly don’t know why you’ve lowered your price so low that you can’t make any money. That’s not my problem, as far as I’m concerned. But please, even at your ridiculously low price, could you at least maintain your typical crappy quality that we’re accustomed to? If you had even done that I wouldn’t be flaming you on Unilocal.I know that I went cheap here and this complaint is really my fault for lowering my standards. But your pizza that is normally just average was virtually inedible. Half of it now graces the bottom of my garbage can. Next time I’ll pay more for pizza elsewhere.

The pizza is the same no matter what Papa Johns you go to so who cares? But, I received good service. I got what I ordered and it was ready on time for takeout: The way things should be but oftentimes today just doesnt happen. I’ll be back, way to go Papa Johns West 38th.
