Olde Town Auto

Victoria and Darren are a pleasure to work with. I have had to visit them quite a few times in the past year and half and trust their judgement and opinion when it comes to completing repairs, doing preventive maintenance, etc. They have replaced the clutch on my 2002 Nissan Xterra, installed ball joints on both the passenger and driver sides, and just recently troubleshooted an overheating issue I was experiencing.
I had been dealing with the issue for the past three years, replacing the radiator hoses, the thermostat, the fan clutch, the radiator itself and now assuming the water pump would be next. Instead of confirming my fear and charging me hundreds of dollars for the repair and labor, Victoria insisted Darren take a look and troubleshoot the issue himself before agreeing to the costly repair. I dropped my vehicle off around 4pm on a Monday and Victoria had already left me a voicemail by 6pm that very same day. Darren had already taken the vehicle for a test drive, discovered what he believed was causing the issue (crud caked on my fan blades preventing the vehicle from cooling properly), rectified the issue, and taken it out for another test drive to confirm his work had solved the problem, which it had. After saving me a huge headache and what could’ve been a costly repair, they charged only $ 32.50 for ½ an hour of labor. What a relief!
I’ve always felt their charges for repair parts and labor at $ 65/​hour is reasonable, if not below market. And only once, on my very first visit, did they ever need to keep my vehicle longer than they had originally expected. But it was worth the wait to have it done properly and at an affordable price.
Having a family-​ran business in the community which I can trust is priceless. I will continue to bring my vehicle here and would recommend any other « Unilocalers» give them a shot. You won’t regret it and you may find a little more money in your pocket for that restaurant you are dying to review =)

Its good to go to a place where you know that my vehicle and everyone i send him will be taken care of. they do get a little busy but knowing i get perfection and satisfaction everytime i leave happieness like that is priceless.
I brought my car in telling them what i wanted done due to im a dyi person, and they reevaluated my situation and saved me more that $ 400 on something i didnt need.
Good to know that they have my best interest in mind, dont know about anyone else but trust is HUGE! They use the best towing company to get my truck down to the shop (Nacho’s Towing) and when they give a time frame they stick to it

I wholeheartedly agree with the other review. It is EXTREMELY difficult to find an honest and affordable mechanic and thank heavens this place was recommended to me by a friend.
Victoria is a wonderful front office person — very kind and conscientous about giving you updates on your car instead of leaving you hanging all day, wondering what is going on and when it will be done.
Not only that, they were very, very fast; one time even fixing a fuel pump within hours of me bringing it in (and staying late to do so) so that I could have my car the next day for work.
I am highly impressed with Olde Town Auto and would definitely recommend them!

It’s so difficult to find a competent, honest, affordable mechanic, but my search is over! My car broke down this weekend, and had a front suspension issue. They fixed the car within a matter of 2 hours on a busy Saturday with no advanced notice, and charged me a fraction of what I thought it would be. Victoria, at the front desk, was super nice and helpful, and took care of all of my needs. What started out as a very stressful situation, turned out to be a breeze, thanks to Victoria and Daren. I don’t typically leave reviews, and am not normally impressed by services or products… but I have nothing but great things to say about Olde Town Auto, and highly recommend them, and wanted to give them a well-​deserved positive review!
