Roberta has over 20 years experience in business administration, marketing, and development. She was overjoyed when Karin asked her to be her business partner on this great adventure. Roberta’s other partner, Tina, is a stay at home mom to their fur babies Reeses, and Huddie.

Karin has been baking since she was knee high to a grasshopper. The love of all things sweet is her passion. The dream of owning her own bakery and sharing her talents is now realized and she couldn’t be happier. Karin has one daughter, Chelsea, currently attending CSU, and lives in Wheat Ridge with her fur baby Henry.

Delicious!!! I ordered a German chocolate cake for my husband’s birthday and it was soooooo yummy! I definitely recommend them for any of your special occasions :) I’ll be ordering another this week for my little brother who’s coming into town in a few weeks for his birthday. 5 stars and two thumbs up for sure!!!

If you want amazing treats with a personal touch, look no further! We have ordered pies, cakes and other items all of which were outstanding. You can’t beat the feel this place has either. My second time in, I was greeted by name. The triple-​berry pie is my absolute favorite!

Everything I’ve had is amazing! I love the lemon crinkle cookies — they are so soft and gooey. The cinnamon rolls are amazing and soft! I’ve special ordered two blackberry cobblers from them and they were delicious! One of times I ordered was last minute and they made an extra effort to make it which was greatly appreciated!!! I’m glad they aren’t close to my house, just my work, because I would go everyday! Ha!

The hype around the rasp-Berta’s is spot on. I stopped in after browsing the bakery section while grocery shopping down the street left me feeling uninspired. It was late afternoon and the woman who greeted me was so so friendly! She gave me a run down on the treats left in the cases and I hose the rasp-​Berta. I won’t waste your time explaining what it is because everyone else already has! Just order it. Maybe get an iced coffee with it… and I dare you to see if you can even make it out of the parking lot before its all gone!

Went for a dozen cupcakes and all they had left by 10am were 3 flavors– all fruit and only one carrot and two raspberry, the rest were cherry bombs they were selling for $ 1 more as a fundraiser. So, ended up paying a whole lot for a dozen cupcakes that weren’t really what we wanted.

I ordered a couple dozen gluten free cupcakes from here for an after work event and they were awesome! Unlike some other places, KareBear knows how to choose their GF flours appropriately so the cupcakes came out moist and fluffy. Everyone loved them.
What made KareBear over the top for me was that the staff went out of their way to make sure I could pick up the cupcakes. Traffic was a mess that day and I could not get to the bakery until 5 minutes past close! I called from the road and they were very friendly, letting me know to knock on the door and they would bring the cupcakes out to me. Businesses that go above and beyond like that get a gold star in my book — and repeat business!

I have never been to the KareBear Bakery, but needed a cake for a baby shower. After seeing the comments and seeing their work on the website, I took a leap of faith and ordered from them. The customer service was amazing from the beginning. The ladies worked to help me come up with a design, size, shape, and flavor. The prices were also really reasonable.
I picked the cake up the evening before the brunch-​time shower and was thrilled with how it looked — it was beautiful!
The shop was so cute that we made plans right then to visit again when we had time to sit and enjoy.
At the house, the cake looked so pretty and was the center piece of the table.
And then we cut it! The cake was moist, rich and delicious! The size they suggested was perfect for the number of guests. Everyone wanted to know where we got the cake!
This bakery will get my business and recommendation for any future events.

I’m all for supporting local businesses but when you are charging $ 5 for a REGULAR size cupcake (regular chocolate, nothing special) that’s a little too much. I was so disappointed with the size/​taste of the cupcake that I ended up tossing it after a few bites. Also, be prepared for the awkward tipping moment — after charging an outrageous amount for a cupcake, she’ll also ask you for a tip. I wish you all the best, but I will not be visiting this bakery ever again.

Just continuing to affirm Kare Bear’s awesomeness. Took the kiddos in this morning for a breakfast treat. My daughter insisted on bringing her care bear.
We got a variety of sweets because, let’s face it, I have no self-​control. Everything was delicious. The kids enjoyed their scone and cupcake (duh).
I just love how warm all the staff here are. They even took my daughter and her care bear into the kitchen for a tour. She came back and said, «mommy, it smells really good in there!»
Prices are awesome, food rocks, go there now.

Great local bakery! I’m writing this review based on my one and only experience there thus far. I got married on Valentines Day and wanted to order cupcakes and not spend a fortune. I stopped in at KareBear and had great service from the start. They helped me choose the flavors and I left them in charge of the design. I had some red doilies with me so they loaned me 3 large round trays to put the doilies and cupcakes on when I was ready to serve. When my best friend picked them up for the wedding she had a nasty cold and they offered her a shot of whiskey. Why they would have whiskey in a bakery at 10 a.m. I don’t know and don’t care! Love it! My guests loved them and they were the perfect size. I ordered the small ones and 1 gluten free for the hubster. I only ordered vanilla bean and chocolate velvet but they were a big hit! I’m looking forward to checking them out for lunch as they are 3 blocks from my house. Thanks KareBear
Addendum: I went in last week and bought a Scotcheroo which immediately flashed me back to my childhood. These were a modern update with chocolate on top and swirled butterscotch. Yumaroo for sure!

Five stars all around. They are amazing, delicious, local, actively involved in their community, and constantly growing, changing up their menu and listening to their patrons.
One of my favorite places. Redefining what a local bakery should be. It’s a must try.

I’m adding to my previous post to RAVE about how good their gluten and dairy free cakes are! My wife has allergies to both gluten and dairy, so finding a birthday cake has been hard and limited to Watercourse Bakery in the past, but not anymore! Karebear baked my wife the best GF/​DF cake either if us have ever tasted, plus is was creatively decorated with a 3″ tall frosting sculpture of my wife doing yoga!

This review was very difficult to decide how many stars to pick. If it wasn’t for the coffee, this would be 5 stars. On the one hand, their food is delicious, and everyone is super nice. On the other, their coffee and espresso drinks are the WORST, and I need coffee with my baked goods.
My boyfriend and I were so excited when they opened, as there are very few walking options for coffee in this neighborhood, but we honestly prefer to go to 711 for coffee. The coffee is simply water with a hint of coffee flavor. Your coffee shouldn’t turn off white with a teaspoon of milk. Possibly, if they double the amount of beans per pot of coffee, it could have some potential. This review is not based on one experience, I keep going back, hoping that the last time was a fluke. I have even tried the mocha, etc — they are all horrible.
If you don’t care about coffee with your pastries, then go there. All their food is amazing, just dont get the coffee…

Buying twelve of the RasBerta bars MAY have been a booboo. That’s all I am gonna say about THAT.
Their other treats are yummy too. Just don’t ever expect my kids to share, because it’s not gonna happen. For the sake of peace, just get each kid their own treat. Trust me. Get a treat for yourself too, moms, because the kids aren’t sharing with YOU either.

Oh raspberta, how I love you — let me count the ways:
1. I love you in the morning with a hot cup of coffee (see photo).
2. I love you at night with a cold glass of milk.
3. I love your buttery shortbread with raspberry crunchy-​nut topping
4. I love the fact that there are always tasty-​nutty crumbs left behind for me to eat with my fingers.
I know that KareBear has so many scrumptious tasty-​treats but I just have to have the raspberta every time. My hubby brings me flowers and raspberta and is assured that I will be his forever.

A very good selection of sugary foods.
The staff is super friendly.
The atmosphere is pleasant and you will want to have a cup of coffee and eat at least one pastry there.
One day later.
The 2 items that I bought are gone. Delicious. Will be buying more here.
