Specialties

Sometimes all that’s needed for a senior to remain in his or her home is a little company or help with daily chores. Others require overnight care or an escort to doctor’s appointments. Whether you need a few hours a week or 24-hour home care, Home Instead Senior Care provides professional CAREGivers who take the time to get to know each client and tailor care for his or her individual needs. CAREGivers are thoroughly screened, extensively trained, insured and bonded, and matched to your preferences.

History

Established in 1994.

Eleanor Manhart of Omaha, NE, was an active widow and grandmother with a large extended family — many of whom lived nearby. When she was in her 90’s, these family members began providing a little extra assistance to keep her safe and independent. Among Mrs. Manhart’s caregivers were her grandson Paul Hogan and his wife Lori, who began wondering how smaller families, or those whose younger members lived far away from their aging relatives, met their own senior care needs. Their concern and interest led the Hogans to open the first Home Instead Senior Care office in 1994.

Meet the Business Owner

Curt and Holly F.

Business Owner

On June 1, 2014, Curt and Holly Foust became the new owners of the Home Instead Senior Care in North Denver. Curt is a third generation Denverite who graduated from both The University of Colorado-Boulder as well as Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California. For the past 20 years, he has been practicing law as corporate counsel, and, most recently, served as General Counsel and Senior Vice President of W.J. Bradley, LLC.

Holly is a former English teacher who has been busy raising their two young children and heading up school-wide events.

Together, Holly and Curt share a strong desire to serve and meet the needs of a growing senior population who want to age gracefully by maintaining their dignity and independence. They have personally experienced the need for compassionate, quality in-home care within their own family. To be part of a business that helps families is at the heart of their enthusiasm to own a business that cares for and assists today’s seniors.
