Loved this place! they took amazing care of a kitten I found

I have liked the business since they moved in many years ago. My girlfriend and I took her cat here when we noticed she was getting thin. She is 13 so we were hoping it was just age related but it turned out she had diabetes. They gave her a senors exam and did some blood work, both were reasonable priced. The staff was very knowledgeable and kind. Our cat is looking better and heather thanks to their help.

I cannot say enough good things about the Weymouth cat clinic. We have two cats, both about 4 years old and we have been bringing them to this clinic since we got them. The staff are always so friendly and Genuinely love our pets like their own. We have an experience about two years ago where one of our cats was dealing with some urinary tract issues and the staff at the clinic was so patient while we worked to resolve the issue. It took a couple months, a new diet, and a couple office visits but we worked through it! I highly recommend the Weymouth cat clinic to everyone!

I have been bringing my cat here since she was a kitten (she’s 6 years old now) for her yearly check-​ups and vaccines. The staff are always professional and welcoming. On the outside it looks like a house, inside is very cute and clean. My cat gets stressed out when we bring her here, she starts hissing and growling as soon as we enter the door. However, the vet and vet techs are always so professional and handle her with great care. They always remain calm even when my cat isn’t. They provide good recommendation and information, such as flea and heart worm protection. We get reminders in the mail every year for her check-​ups.
Even though there are closer vets to where I live, I choose to come here because they are a cat clinic and are very knowledgeable and friendly. I have been satisfied every time.
Parking: Small parking lot, also parking on the street.

This is an amazing cat clinic. They really take care of your fur baby feline. I’ve been bringing my Monty here for the past two years and the veterinarians and vet techs have been nothing but super helpful and accommodating. I’ve been a cat mommy for the past two years, and I always have a ton of questions when I’ve brought her in for her annual. Dr. Doggett, Dr. LaPorte and Rebecca always answer my questions without hesitation.
Showing us how to clip her nails and demonstrating how to brush Monty’s teeth was super helpful. Monty was adopted from the Quincy Animal Shelter so the clinic already had her records in their system when she was at the shelter. This was super helpful to know what was needed in terms of vaccines, etc.
The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. We love that this is a clinic just for cats and cats only. They even have a few house cats! One cat, Rosie, was being quite the cat clinic hostess! Ha :) if you live on the south shore and have a cat, please consider bringing him or her to this clinic. You will not be disappointed!
Oh and they sell cat food, animal toothpaste and medications!

We recently brought our cat here after he had difficulty supporting himself on his hind legs and was experiencing pain. Dr. Schmitt and the staff here quickly gave Mr. Meow Meow a pain relief injection and made him comfortable. Our cat had a heart condition that caused him to experience blood clots, which was the case this time.
After an evaluation, Dr. Schmitt’s diagnosis was the expected blood clot, which was located in a spot that affected both of Mr. Meow Meow’s hind legs. His prognosis was not very good, and because the pain injection would wear off in a few hours, and it was after 8:00 at night, Dr. Schmitt referred us to VCA Animal Hospital in Weymouth due to their 24 hour care facility. Our vet at the VCA confirmed Dr. Schmitt’s diagnosis of a blood clot, and agreed that our cat’s prospects were not very positive. Sadly, we had to euthanize Mr. Meow Meow, but Dr. Schmitt and the staff here did the very best with a negative situation such as this.
The staff here is very friendly, and the setting is very homey. We’ve brought Mr. Meow Meow here in the past, and he always seemed very content in the exam rooms, as he enjoyed looking out the window. The vets are very knowledgeable and have a great bedside manner. If we do get another cat, I would definitely trust the professionals here with him or her.

I bring both of my cats to this practice. Everyone is so nice and sweet.
One day they even took a picture of Noodles for being such a good patient! There is huge windows in the exam rooms and my cats like to look out them while waiting for the tech and the vet.
While I am sad that Dr. McCormick doesn’t practice here anymore, Dr. Doggett is great!
I would recommend this practice to anyone in the south shore for their cats needs!

Everybody was so nice! Rebecca took the time to show me how to brush my kitten’s teeth and gave advice for feeding her and trimming her claws. Awesome facility, awesome staff!

I love Weymouth Landing Cat Clinic! I adopted my cat, Lucy, from the Quincy Animal Shelter and they recommended this place to me. It appears to be 2 fairly young women who went into business together after vet school and they specialize in cats. I’ve had them both look at Lucy and they’re both so nice and knowledgeable. In addition, the rest of the staff is warm and welcoming and all cat lovers.
I’m adopting a dog but I hope to continue bringing Lucy here despite that!

I am very happy to leave the 26^th, 5-​star review. If I could give them 10 stars I would. There is absolutely nothing I can say negative about the establishment, doctors and staff. I drive from Boston to Weymouth so that my cat receives the very best treatment. Thank you for all that you have done for my past cats, present cat and future cats!!! :)

Lately not happy here since they make our cat sad.

Love this place. We took our sick kitty Ernie there and not only did they examine him but they also trimmed his nails for free.

If you are cat owner, this is the place to go. They are affordable, very friendly and take the time to explain everything when it comes to the care of your cat. Their hours are very flexible for working people (which is most of us) and they even do home visits, if your cat is impossible to get into a carrying case.

hello, my past experiences with Veterinarians and clinics has not been positive.
i knew it was past the time for my cats physical and also knew that she seemed to be acting different. So i went to Unilocal and found WLCC and found many positive reviews.
I will add my positive review to all the others. from first contact the front desk folks were friendly and helpful. setting up appointment was easy and quick. when i arrived at the clinic i was happy to see what appeared to be a nice house as opposed to a clinic.
when i went inside i was greeted warmly and soon was joined by a lovely tech named Cassie? i am terrible with names. Cassie was thoughtful and took down all my concerns and questions. Soon we were joined by Dr. Makowski who was warm and and actually listened to my concerns with past vets. well after a complete exam and lab work and nails clipped THANK YOU. i was on my way home and felt a sense of relief at finding a clinic that i felt comfortable with for my cat.
i have already received a few follow up emails and calls and Dr. Makowski called me on SATURDAY to give me results from lab work.
i also asked about Lila’s weight and i was emailed a diet plan from WLCC in 2 days.
i never write reviews, i am not easily impressed, i really appreciate folks that are professional and seem to really love their jobs. So that’s what i think about WLCC and your wonderful staff. this is not a paid endorsement LOL

Amazing vet practice and cat boarding facility. All the staff go above and beyond to care for your cat, and the entire staff are basically cat people, so they «get» cats and their owners :) I was very impressed with the cleanliness and prompt attention that I received from the staff. My cat is healthier than he’s ever been.
Boarding: I boarded my cat in their excellent facility. For $ 20 a day, my cat stayed in a beautiful, wood-​and-​glass space (no wire cages here) and there’s an employee who plays with the cats and hangs out them every day — even over holiday weekends!
My cat and I will definitely be back! Worth every penny!

Currently sitting in their waiting room on my first visit here. It feels like I’m at my dentist’s. A very clean, professional, and organized cat clinic. It’s probably one of the best facilities I’ve been to. I was super worried about my cat, who had started peeing reddish colored urine in the bathtub and really needed an appointment. I tried getting one at MSPCA Angell Memorial but they were all booked and they expected me to just go through their emergency department ($ 145) since it was only $ 15 cheaper than the internal med department that my cat would have to check into. As a poor college student, this is not okay. But just because I’m poor and in college doesn’t mean I don’t want the best care for my cat. A friend recommended Weymouth, saying they were very friendly and affordable. So very very true! I called, they were able to squeeze me in, and they’ve definitely eased my worry as I sit here in their tasteful waiting room. Did I also mention it doesn’t smell like animals in here? I’m in love already.

Really fantastic place. My cat just had a dental done and had to have half her teeth removed. They did such a great job. Her surgery went well and they did a great job following up. Everyone is so nice here, even if I am just coming in to get cat food, they are all so friendly. The vet and vet techs were so great with my cats when they were in for their check up.

After 6 years of taking my cats to a large, noisy vet practice (that I don’t think knew much about cats), I found Weymouth Landing Cat Clinic and I will never leave! One of my cats was quite sick the first time she went there, and she sadly died while being boarded. Dr. McCormack was so caring and compassionate; I think she was almost as sad as I was!
My second cat has gone there for routine care, nail trimming, etc. for the past 3 years. Recently we believed he had arthritis (he’s 10), and I dropped him off to stay at the Hotel while I was going out of town so they could manage his pain and get him on a regimen. Turns out he had cancer in one of his rear leg bones. Again, Dr. McCormack was so kind to him. We discussed all the options, and she performed an amputation (after reassuring me that it would be more traumatic for me than my kitty!). When he needed 24 hour care, they transported him to a hospital, and when he was ready for discharge and she didn’t think I’d be home, Dr. McCormack offered to pick him up and transport him back to Weymouth Landing (on Labor Day, no less)!
Although Dr. McCormack is our constant, the entire staff is wonderful, caring, and so helpful! Mike, Grace, LeAnne, Katie, and everyone at the Clinic is phenomenal. I will never take this, or any kitty I ever have, to anyplace other than the Weymouth Landing Cat Clinic!

Finally! A cat clinic I am 100% happy with! I wish I had found them when my cat of 13 years was alive but so far I’ve been there 3 times with my new kittens and they have been wonderful. Very knowledgeable with cats, affordable, and are able to explain things in a way you understand. i highly recommend this vet to anyone in the area who owns a cat.

Our cat had become very ill and a trip to the Clinic proved that we were going to have to make a very very heart wrenching decision. Dr Doggett performed our initial consultation and was fantastic in helping us to understand what the potential issues were and performing the relevant tests.
However, the over the following 24 hours the cat had a severe decline in her health. We called the clinic and spoke with Dr. McCormack about the situation and the results of the cat’s tests. Unfortunately the outlook was very very poor and Dr McCormack helped us to understand our options. We decided that we couldn’t allow our cat to continue to suffer and we went to the clinic within the hour.
It was really touching for Dr McCormack to greet us immediately as we entered and to offer us the privacy of a consultation room straight away. It meant an awful lot not to have to explain who we were and why we were there!
Dr McCormack explained the situation again and ran through our options including being quite honest about the chances of the success of any treatment. There was no question that our cat would have continued to suffer. It was time to let her go.
We were given plenty of time to say our farewell and Dr McCormack helped the cat on her way in such a wonderful and caring way as well as showing us a level of compassion that was akin to her being a good friend.
Everyone at the clinic is fantastic and we thank them dearly for being kind, caring and compassionate.
