This is the BEST breakfast place in the area and much better than the trendier option next door which gets more crowded for some reason. Newcomb’s breakfast hits the spot every time and there are always interesting specials on the board. I’ve had some downright bad breakfasts at their competitors’ and can’t understand how Newcomb’s doesn’t get a line out the door. Food, service, even the coffee is a hundred times better here. Don’t wait for half an hour next door for a worse meal. Newcomb’s is the place.

Wonderful service. It almost like the waitstaff personally knew everyone who walked through the door. Foods pretty good too. I recommend highly.

We go almost every Sunday for breakfast it is so good. We love the skillets. It is a tiny place, get there early. The waitstaff is always nice. The cook checks in to make sure everything was perfect.

I sell lobster to Rick and as a recommendation, I often come back to pay for the lobster I sold.(I figure I get it at a discount.) The breakfast offerings are creative – lobster eggs benedict. and some great skillet creations. He stays open on Friday night and the meals I’ve had there have been excellent. His lobster rolls I KNOW are fresh not frozen – none of the mush McDonalds serves.

We love coming here. The food is always homemade, fresh and fast to come out. The prices are affordable and the waitresses are always welcoming & pleasant. They also have lobster Benedict’s & lobster omelette’s which are totally my am jam! The coffee is nice and hot, there is usually never a wait and the food is delish. Keep up the great work, Newcombs!

We visited May 11th2014. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Good presentation. Owner came to check on our experience towards the end. We recommend this restaurant for value, service, friendliness and a welcoming atmosphere.

Service is pitiful. When I finally got my food it was cold and the«poached» eggs with my eggs benedict were more like hard boiled even though I specifically asked they be lightly poached. I have tried this place about 5 times now because it’s so close and they have yet to get an order right.

We are traveling from out of State and decided to try this instead if Nico’s down the street, even though there were bad reviews. Waitress was very efficient and there was no waiting for breakfast. I had scrambled Eggs and an English muffin. My husband had eggs medium and ham. Everything was excellent.

I decided to give this place a try for breakfast since a neighbor told me the prices were reasonable. I was not impressed. I do not plan to go back. I wish the Restaurant Impossible host was there to help me figure out why my simple Western Omelet was just not good. The eggs were rubbery and had no flavor. The ham, green pepper and onion inside seems manufactured in taste and cut. Not homemade looking or tasting at all. The potatoes were okay — my toast and the entire plate were not hot and there was only one other table in there so it was not busy. I liked the old character of the place, but the paint was dirty/scratched up looking on the walls. A fly landed on my cold toast, but that’s okay since I was not planning on eating it. The servers were friendly. My friend had one pancake with strawberries and whip cream, and 3 pieces of bacon. We had one coffee and one OJ. Our bill came to 16.00 or so — way, way too much for what we ordered since I could have made it better at home. I hope they find a way to improve the quality of their food, or I do not see them making it in the breakfast business anyway. I am writing this in hopes that the owner will read it and try to make improvements so he can succeed. I love to support small local businesses.

This place has changed hands many times and the food isnt really bad but service is horrible. Understaffed and inexperienced. I go back from time to time but it doesnt get much better on the service end. Owner might be the problem.
