Nasty place. prices are way to high. Walk into the mens’s room and there is a mop & pale in front of the sink. Go to Friendlys for half the price and cleaner facility. avoid

A nasty throw-back to a time when there were no board of health inspections. The place is filthy, the food bad, and prices high. The dated décor is from the 1960‘s and still NOT up-dated or thoroughly cleaned. The owners never put«Dime one» back into the business. A good place to skip.

Easters is making a come back. Because of the fact another breakfast place we have been going to was full, we decided giving Easters another shot. Well I have to say Easters is making a come back. The food was really good almost like old times Easters. I will be going back again soon

Pass this one by. I ordered the Two Step breakfast with eggs, pancakes and bacon. The pancakes arrived«dirty» looking(clean your grill boss) and the bacon was as thin as a napkin. The pancakes were thick and chewy. My mother’s arrived with black particles in her butter. The overall appearance of the restaurants was dirty looking as well. The only reason for two stars is fir the friendly service. This was a waste of a breakfast.

Even though it’s located in a fairly busy suburban area, this little breakfast and lunch place is what you would expect to find in a small town. Homey, friendly, a little quaint. Though I just had coffee and a cinnamon roll, I watched what was coming out of the kitchen, and it looked great. I was there late in the morning, and it was still quite busy.

Stopped here to scout out a new place for our regular Sunday breakfast. Food was good so a definite possibility although the place is a bit on the small side and limited parking.

The place was dirty. Very small parking lot. The food was expensive for breakfast. Eggs were dry. My boyfriend and I barely touched our food

Really more like 4.5 stars, taking off half a star for service that can be slow since I know that can be an issue for some. Definitely not somewhere to eat if you’re in a big rush– though I think the relaxed homey atmosphere adds to Easter’s charm. It seems the waitstaff is on friendly terms with many customers and, if you are willing to make your needs known, are very accommodating. Now for the food! My boyfriend and I have been here twice so far to order breakfast and I’ve been sticking with the two egg hash and cheese omelette. These omelettes have been the fluffiest omelettes I’ve ever eaten, and filled perfectly. I highly suggest getting a griddled English muffin as your side. My boyfriend has been exploring their French toast options with great success. I’m not one for sweet breakfast foods but even I love the bites I’ve had of his dishes. All in all, I love Easter’s and we will be returning frequently.

First off, the website on here is not their website, they don’t even have a website. I found this place to be very cute and homey. The have old signs around and signed pictures of older iconic people. It feels like him sitting in my own kitchen. I got the broccoli and cheese omelette and a side of pancakes. The omelette was very fluffy and filled perfectly. The pancake was also fluffy and lots of butter which is how I like it. My friend got the Irish Benedict(corned beef hash) and the eggs were cooked to perfection. We are big Benedict people and I don’t think I’ve had a better one. They came with home fries which come with onions so beware if you don’t like onions! Staff was polite and attentive. Just wish the price was a dollar or so cheaper for everything considering it’s supposed to be $ I would say Unilocal needs to change this one to $$ Overall this place was great and we will be back again.

I have been coming to Easter’s since I was a young lad. My Grandpa first took me here when I was five. He was from Kansas and this place was the closest thing he found to home cooking. So you’ll forgive if I am a little bit biased in favour of this place. Easters is a small kitschy niche of wonderment that sits literally on the Townline between Hingham and Weymouth. When you enter, look to your right and see a small counter with a few stools behind which is the kitchen in full view. Look to your left and notice anything but the tables and booths because the walls are covered with the worst country knickknacks you have ever seen. there are pictures of Elvis and Dolly Parton. There’s a fiddle and a washboard. There is a picture of two toddler farmers next to another picture of a news article about them growing up to be teenagers and still being farmers. It goes that deep. My usual routine is to sit at the counter and order a cup of coffee and a glass of water. They asked me if I need a menu and I say no. They give me a couple of minutes to read the news and then come around and say«what’ll you have?» For me is usually a «country breakfast» and to them that consists of a biscuit with sausage gravy, two eggs done up any way I like and… grits. It may be that dish was the very reason my grandfather first brought me here. I order and in a flash outcomes my meal. Did they know? did they just start making it when I came in? The gravy is always piping hot and steamy. The biscuit is always as buttery as it is fluffy and my poached eggs are always perfect just the way I ask for them, just so the yolk holds together. Perfection. This is just a wonderful way to begin any day. I never feel rushed but they do tend to be very efficient. Usually by the time I am done with my meal my check is already in front of me waiting to go. This is great at a breakfast place because it means commuters in a hurry can still get a hot meal but also with the check comes my one piece of constructive criticism for this place. They have an antiquated credit card system that does not allow for tips to be added after the card has been run. So, If you are paying with a credit card and tipping on said credit card you must include the tip verbally before they run the card. This can be a bit awkward. Easter’s antiquity is then both its greatest strength and it’s only minor downfall. If you are like me, you will just enjoy your culinary time travel and just bring cash.

My friend and I met here for breakfast yesterday and I had a good experience. She’d been there many times before, but this was my first visit. I’m a huge fan of French Toast(The Friendly Toast in Cambridge has my favorite) and Easter’s didn’t disappoint. Not 5-star quality but very, very good for a small, local diner. My biggest cheer is that we sat at a booth for THREEHOURS and not once did the waitress give us a hard time! She came back to offer us more water so we could keep chatting and I never got a dirty look. She even laughed and said, «What? Have you girls not seen each other in over a week?»(I’m 35 and my friend is 60! So the«girls» part was cute. And we actually haven’t been in the same country for over 8 months.) Good portions for reasonable prices combined with friendly service! I’ll likely be headed back!

Been here many times over the years. Definitely a country atmosphere with memorabilia of country music stars of yesteryear on the wall, along with Elvis commemorative plates. The breakfast is on par, for the most part. Service is good and they seem quick to keep a cup of coffee full. This seems to be one of the few places in the area to find grits on the menu, although personally I’m not a big fan of grits. Also uncommon is their side order of biscuit and gravy, which is delicious. It’s the biscuit and gravy that keeps me coming back.

Is this the best breakfast ever? No. Not at all. But it’s pretty darn tasty and and pretty darn cheap. The servings are huge. Order eggs and homefries and on half of the plate is a mound of eggs while the other half is a mound of homefries. More than I can eat. This place got me through more than a couple mornings the summer of 2009. I recommend it Pass

Good prices and nice staff does not a three star make, unfortunately. Disappointing bacon. You know that’s just a dealbreaker for me right there. I expected so much more from a place with«country kitchen» in its name. My poached eggs also arrived rather… soupy. My fault, I probably could have warned them to give it an extra minute or two in the water. Pancakes & home fries were okay. Here was the clincher, though: my sister orders an omelet. The waitress asks«large or small?» My sister, who herself is small and a poor recent college grad, decides on small… only to find out when the check comes later that both the large and the small are priced exactly the same. If she was going to get charged $ 9 either way, I’ll bet she would have appreciated some breakfast leftovers. Even though I was starving and in dire need of coffee when I arrived, I left feeling only partially sated. My longtime friend, however, swears by this place. She’s been coming here for years and seems to have really fond memories of this spot– so maybe give it a try. Just remember: when given a choice, always ask for large!

It’s like somebody dropped a Colorado truck-strop next to Massachusetts Bay. We arrived late on a Sunday morning, during peak breakfast hours. I was extremely hung-over and not in the best mood. We had an odd number of people and the place was packed, but we were seated promptly and without any fuss. Some members of our party had food allergies, and we were happily accommodated. Our waitress was good-humored and extremely friendly. Everybody’s food was incredible. I ordered biscuits and gravy, a dish near and dear to my heart. The gravy-to-biscuit ratio was tilted heavily toward the gravy — a common mistake, but easily remedied(just don’t eat all the gravy!). The pancakes were amazing, and probably the best item on our table. The omelets were enormous. My wife ordered eggs over easy, and they came slightly undercooked — but other than that, we had no complaints. The interior décor was very kitschy: the walls were covered with bad headshots of country-and-western singers from the ‘80s, many of which were autographed. I’m not sure if this is meant to lend authenticity to Easter’s Country Kitchen, but if so, they don’t need it. If you’re in eastern Massachusetts and want a solid breakfast reminiscent of a Midwestern truck-stop, this will be your first and last stop.

Cute little place, pretty small and there’s usually a wait but turnover is pretty quick. Coffee comes out as soon as you’re seated and it’s a bottomless cup. I was a little disappointed in the hash, but I asked for a single pancake after I cleaned my plate and got it almost immediately. Wait staff is pleasant and it feels like they will probably warm up after they see our faces a few times. We will definitely be back.
