Purchased over $ 1900.00 of living room furniture. A couch, love seat and recliner. The recliner was defective when it arrived. When you sit in it you lean to one side. Called Levin’s and they are sending out a repair person… really!!! ITISBRANDNEW. Why should it be repaired how about you replace it. They said it has to be looked at first. So I set up an appointment for the repair man and tell them to call my cell because I only work 10 minutes from home. My window for the repair call was 12:30 — 3:30. Like I have 3 hours to sit around and wait. I never hear from the repair guy. When I called to say he never showed they tell me he called my home number and got no answer. Then he called again and was told the misses was not home… REALLY. They are having another repair person call me… The couch I purchased also has an problem. We do sit on it just about every evening since it is in our family room. It is only 7 weeks old and the material on the cushions is stretching so much that it looks like I have had the couch for a year. I have rotated the pillows which did not help. The material used inside the cushions is garbage and has compressed so much that I am sure this furniture will be a mess before it is paid off. When and if the repair person shows up for the recliner I am going to have him look at the couch. Will post with a follow up. I know you get what you pay for and I am never going to buy from Levin’s again. It just does not hold up.

Ordered couch, and two recliners along with two end tables, tables were are back order. When the couch was delivered we noticed a small rip in the seat cushion, the delivery guy took a pic and said they would notify the store. I called the sales person I dealt with and reported the damage along with damage to the recliner lever on one chair, that was two days ago days ago and I’ve heard nothing yet… I will update this post when I do. The delivery guy also told me that according to his order the tables should have been on the truck but were not. Update A manager promptly contacted me to Remedy this situation, thanks Laura !

I shopped for a mattress and a sofa from this store. They lied to me about the warranty with Tempur-Pedic mattresses by saying that if I bought their $ 200 mattress cover that it would expend the warranty to 20 years. I called Tempur-pedic and they assured me that no matter what else is purchased(even a mattress cover that offers 20 years of protection itself) that the warranty is 10 years. That’s a major difference on a $ 5000 purchase. The sofa I looked at seemed very nice — but I canceled the order for that too based on the lies about the mattress. I hope somebody holds this company accountable.

We received the new cushion for the couch the first week in July. The bed rails and footboard were delivered last Wed(Aug 5). At first I asked one of the guys if the rails were the correct color because they are lighter than the headboard. He said it was just the lighting in the room. I’m looking at it now in the daylight and it’s definitely two different shades. Then, the delivery guys were having trouble getting the slats to fit once they had assembled the bed. They called me into the room to tell/show me that they were going to saw the slats to make them fit. I pointed out that maybe the footboard was the wrong size since it didn’t match up to the indentations on the carpet from the previous one. Yes, they agreed. The manufacturer had shipped a queen footboard instead of a king. They noted the account and put the old(wrong color) footboard back on. I emailed two ladies who contacted me regarding my earlier review. I received one email back confirming what parts were delivered and taken back. I haven’t heard anything else since last Wednesday. I now have a bed that 3 different colors. I realize that things happen, but I have been more than understanding with all these issues. I just can’t get over the horrible customer service!

My family and I recently transferred to PG and with that a new house with a few rooms to fill with furniture. We did a quick Google search and found Levin’s close to our area. We went during their big 4th of July 55% off sale. Saturday we were promptly greeted by Ron our salesperson. He was cool. Not pushy but knew his products and where to find things in their store. We came back on Sunday and purchased two couches, kitchen table/chairs, Full size bed, and a sofa sleeper. The quality at a reasonable price is what has impressed me the most so far. We expect our furniture to be delivered next week. I will update my review to reflect the delivery experience as from reading a few of their other reviews it seems that is where they have some quality control and post sale customer service issues. I am an optimist so we are expecting everything to be as promised. Will update this review in two weeks! Update: Furniture was delivered on time and the delivery people were fast and Professional. No scratches or dings, everything was great!

Update to another review below… Within two hours of posting the review, the same manager I had been working with called to tell me that corporate had authorized them covering the cost difference between what we ordered and signed a contract for and what the factory could actually produce. I’m happy that were getting the furniture, even if the special order turnaround time is eight weeks(we knew that going in). Thanks to the Levin’s team for the hard work to get this resolved.

Worst customer service ever. They have no interest in helping customers purchase their product. Hopefully the couch is worth it, but I’m having my doubts.

Just the worst experience ever. After looking everywhere for a sofa that suited my taste and budget, I purchased a sofa that, I guess for Levin, is in their upper mid-price range($ 750 on sale). Within the first few weeks, I started having trouble with the upholstery shifting on the cushions. The piping along the top front of the cushions had started making its way down and was halfway toward turning the bend to be on the underside of the cushion. After an adult sat on the cushion, it would slide forward on the frame an inch or three(good news, kids butts didn’t make it shift so for the under 70# set, it works). I called Levin and a serviceman came(good news again, he was nice). The down side was he minimized my complaints by explaining: «Oh, yeah, that’s to be expected — you just have to unzip the cushion and(go elbow deep into it and) shift the fabric around and then after someone gets up, just lift up the back cushion, lift up the seat cushion, push it back into place and press down really hard to get the velcro to hook. VOILA! Another month passed and now I had a three-cushion sofa that looked like The Three Bears had visited. The height of the cushion where I sat the most was more compressed than the cushion at the other end where I rarely sat. The one in the middle was so high that if I sat on it, my feet didn’t touch the floor and I am an average height for a female(5′-5»). Another call to Levin and the word was«Oh, yeah, that’s to be expected. Rotate the cushions). At that time, I was working 10 – 12 hour days and I’m single, so it was typical for me to sit on the sofa for maybe an hour max during the week and a couple hours over the weekend. This is just for any reader who might be wondering if a family of 12 linebackers lives here. In the past couple months, I’ve been at home recovering from an injury, so I’m sitting A LOT. To my horror, I’ve witnessed my now-18-month old sofa turning into something you might see in a dumpster or out for a curb call. The seat cushion where I typically sit is so compressed after an hour that it looks like the foam is two inches thick. It will rebound after a day, so I guess that is the good news. Maybe if I called Levin again they would say«Oh, yeah, that’s to be expected. Just don’t sit on it for a day if you’re going to have people visit.» The back cushions are just as weird. The one in the middle is still pillow-like. Looks nice. BECAUSENOONESITSTHERE! The ones on either end are compressed in such a way that they now look like they are stuffed with rocks and the fabric sags and wrinkles at the bottom. Not exactly what I thought I was getting into when I bought a sofa that cost more than $ 350. Maybe my expectations(buy sofa, sit on sofa, occasionally vacuum sofa) were too high :-/
