Last summer when my husband and I moved into our house we knew that our radon reduction system needed to be either fixed or replaced. My guy did some research and selected AIRTECH Radon Services, and about 2 months ago the company sent Brian, a Certified Radon Contractor, to our home to assess the situation. Brian came across as professional, courteous, and extremely efficient. Turns out we’d needed the system’s fan replaced, and the entire appointment lasted just 20 – 30 minutes. With the exception of a few unfortunate casino trips over the years, this scenario was the fastest I’ve ever relieved myself of about $ 400. Other than spending a few hundred dollars rather quickly, there was another thing that I didn’t love about this experience. After Brian left I took out some trash and noticed that Brian had put the old fan in our outdoor trash container. He didn’t tell me about it or ask me about it; he just did it. The old plastic fan took up a big chunk of the container, and, worst case scenario, the township may have fined us for inappropriately discarding such an item. Plus, shouldn’t $ 400 for a half hour of work involve take-away service? I’m OK with this overall experience, but, AIRTECH Radon Services, please take notice and instruct your employees to remove old equipment from the job site or to at least ask permission to discard on-site.
