History

Established in 1998.

My grandfather was the first Mariachi in the family he started in the town of Puebla in Mexico. It was in 1962 when my grandfather started music, and years later my father and uncle played with my grandfather in a group they called Trio Emperadores. Year went by, and my father and my uncle went different ways both playing with remarkable mariachi bands in Mexico playing concerts with artists like Vicente Fernandez, Juan Gabriel, etc. than my father, my older brother and a friend started a group called Los Tres de Puebla. When I arrived New York My father and brothers were playing for different mariachi bands in New York City. As a got trained by my father it came to me the idea to travel to Connecticut and start a Family Mariachi band that we can call Mariachi Emperadores de Puebla, getting together the two names of the bands my father had work with my grand father. When we started it was My Grandfather, My Father, My Brothers and I. That is the picture I use now as a logo.
