I got PRK done at LasikPlus a year and a half ago. The doctors and staff were super friendly, informative, supportive, and caring. They spent a lot of time evaluating me as a candidate, walking me through the process, and answering all of my questions. Their thoroughness really made me feel confident that I was in the right hands.
The day of the procedure couldn’t have been any easier — in and out in about 45 minutes with the actual procedure taking less than ten minutes. After a brief recovery period (for PRK it does take a few weeks) I was seeing ²⁰⁄₂₀ and a couple of months later I was seeing ²⁰⁄₁₅! The best part is that I’m still ²⁰⁄₁₅ one and a half years later!
I thought about getting LASIK for years — now my only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner.
I’m so thankful for the people at LasikPlus — they are all truly amazing!

Got a notice from my insurance that LASIK Plus had a special for 695.00 dollars an eye. After driving 2 hours to this location, and spending an hour getting «tested» I was told the price would be 1400 PER EYE and that was AFTER my insurance discount. The woman told me that the 695.00 price «was just marketing» and that I didn’t qualify.
So, they advertise pricing to get you in, my prescription fell DIRECTLY under their terms, then i am told it’s «just marketing». I left a review on Facebook and they responded that «we aren’t aware of any 695.00 dollar promotion. Well I posted the notice I got, and guess what? No response from this company.
I wasted 4 hours of round trip driving and 1 hour of exam time to have a bait and switch pulled on me.
I would never do business with such a deceiving company, and company who ignores their own marketing promotions and who responds to reviews only to make themselves LOOK good but not really helping the customer.
Below is the picture of the promotion that apparently I don’t qualify for, even though my prescription falls under their terms and conditions.
There are other, more honest companies out there. I honestly feel like their Facebook reviews are pure lies. When you go in for their exam, they actually ask you take out your cell phone and then ask you to LIKE their Facebook page BEFORE they even give you a quote. I am not making that up! They stand there while you do it, its just bizarre.
I found a company that is 15 minutes from me, that is doing the procedure for 800 dollars less than Lasik Plus Hartford. I am paying 600 more overall from the «marketing price» that I apparently don’t qualify for from of this company, but i’d gladly pay it to a company that didn’t try and scam me, at least they were honest from the start.

Finally getting LASIK corrective vision at LasikPlus turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. Words cannot describe how profound the difference is in your everyday life when you can wake up in the morning and see perfectly without reaching for glasses or contacts. The team at LasikPlus were incredibly helpful with the preparation and answering any questions I had leading up to the procedure. On the day of the LASIK, I was incredibly at ease since I had been briefed on every aspect of the procedure. I highly encourage anyone contemplating LASIK to make the first step and schedule a free consultation with LasikPlus Vision Center in Wethersfield.

Great staff and doctors are friendly and helpful. The follow up call from the doctor after surgery was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. You generally don’t receive service like that today!

Had a great experience at lasikplus. Everyone who works there is super friendly and helpful. They answered any questions and made me feel very comfortable with the procedure. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone thinking of having LASIK surgery.

I had been interested in lasik for a while but never found the right time to really look into it until 2014 after receiving a flyer from my job health fair. Anyways I decided to give them a call and set up my consultation for a Saturday in November. About a week or so before my appt they canceled my appt and I ended up making a new appt for a weekday in early December. The office was clean, everyone was nice and the consultation lasted about an hour and consisted of me getting various eye tests. After my test I found out that because my cornea was on the thin side I would qualify for PRK and not lasik. I had no idea what this really was but the way it was explained sounded good and I ended u scheduling an appt for Sat Feb 14^th. I was able to drive home (1 hr away) with no issues and just my glasses. It was a long 2 month wait but i had read every review on PRK and watched every video and I was ready. I was shocked when I received a call on the Thursday before my surgery to say something came up and I needed to change my appt to now the end up Feb. You can imagine how upset I was since I had submitted the time off request and did not arrange for any childcare since it was my daughters spring break. So fast forward past that to the day of my surgery. I met Dr. Salierno before the surgery and he made me feel at ease. The surgery was weird but just what I expected. The recovery had ups and downs but I went for in today which is 6 weeks post surgery and my vision is ²⁰⁄₂₀ together and my right eye is ²⁰⁄₁₅. I am beyond happy with my results so far and am seeing great and would gladly refer this office.

Website says it is possible to drive after the free consultation and it’s not. It’s also really difficult to get a person on the phone. I wouldn’t go here for a procedure like this — they seem caught up in profits and turning people through rather than giving good and considered care.

Had Lasik surgery yesterday and let me just say what a really great experience it was. Everyone there is excepionally nice, knowledgable and professional. Dr. Salierno was great and made me feel comfortable before and after the surgery. He even called to check up on me a few hours after. What a great establishment, 5 stars across the board. Oh and the best part is my vision. ²⁰⁄₁₅ from –4! Can’t thank them enough!

The staff at LasikPlus is phenomenal! They are very knowledgeable and took the time to inform me about the procedure and answer any questions in my initial appointment. The day of surgery was no different and I was treated wonderfully. Dr. Salerno, in addition to being a talented doctor, put me at ease immediately.
As a previous lifetime glasses wearer with a very high prescription LASIK seemed too good to be true but three months later my vision is still ²⁰⁄₂₀.
Simply said I have nothing but wonderful things to say about LASIK Plus and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you LASIK Plus!

after 4 yrs of glasses/​contacts free, i came to write a review about lasikplus in wethersfield. first off, i must say i had really bad eye sight, been wearing glasses since i was in 4^th grade… needless to say, my vision was awful. if anything, it was the worst vision lasikplus had done at that time. after my surgery, i didn’t have 2020 vision. however, it was ²⁰⁄₁₀. i’d say that was pretty good for some one who had –13 for both eyes. i have to say that Dr Salierno is an excellent doctor… he took care of me, assured me that it’ll be ok and took a chance on a guy that just wanted to be able to get up in the middle of the nite to take care of his newborn without having to grab his glasses. lasik, what a life changer. and Dr Salierno and Lasikplus, what a great job they did… after my surgery, i recommended my sis-​in-​law to Lasikplus and she still raves about her eye sight… for as long as Dr Salierno is at lasikplus in wethersfield, i’ll recommend friends and family to them. if its a different doctor, then i wouldn’t know.
