D’Esopo Funeral Chapel

Ok, I know, a little creepy but I can’t say enough about D’Esopo’s Funeral Chapel. I lost my partner of 25 years after a long battle w/​cancer. George D’Esopo and Cristina Harris were there for me at every step (even w/​my crazy family!) and the entire staff was helpful and considerate. Bob had wanted certain things at his memorial (Disco being just one of the requests) and the both George and Cristina couldn’t have been more positive. They thanked me for having the service there and embracing what memorial services and funerals are all about, a celebration of the deceased person’s life. In true fashion, the service and repast after were just that. My spouse would have been happy and proud. I thank D’Esopo’s sincerely for making what could’ve been one of the worst experiences of my life into one of the most memorable.

Beautiful location. Walking in was amazing. It was straight out of the movie scene in Titanic the way they open the doors for you. Complete elegance on the inside down to the simplest of details. I does look like it make slightly costly but I wouldn’t know I was only there to offer condolences but heard them complain of the cost. So I can only imagine.

It is not easy when you are visiting an establishment such as this because of what it means of why you are there.
On good note, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a great service that they provide. In the two days that we were there, the staff provided a relaxing environment.
The service they provided is very professional and structured; the staff lead everyone every step of the way and provide helpful instruction on the next steps.
It is a place that offers many options including that our service was held on a Saturday.
It is a place that you can trust to help you through the tough time and offers you an opportunity to help you move on.
The décor on the inside is very nice and soothing; on the inside, there is a wall hanging about how the family came into the business and that they have been at this location for a long time. Which is good to see because that means they are a good business and this is good to see for the local community.

Unfortunately, I have been to D’Esopo Funeral home several times recently both to pay my respects and offer condolences to friends and co-​workers as well as to say goodbye to family members myself.
Each time — regardless of my involvement, I have always felt that the funeral home has provided top notch services to my friends and loved ones. Losing a loved one is never easy and although the employees of D’Esopo see sadness daily, I enjoy the personalized attention that they give to each grieving family members — never making their pain feel insignificant.
The Funeral Chapel itself has plenty of parking available and from what I was able to see there are 2 – 3 viewing areas available. The décor is subdued, clean and well taken care of. Plenty of seating is available for mourners with seating outside the viewing room for those that need a breather.
From start to finish the small details have always there — from the water provided in the viewing area to the blankets provided to the mourners at the cemetery during a recent very cold January day.
No one wants to seek out the services of a funeral home — but it’s good to know that there are places like D’Esopo around when you do.
