I love everything about this market. Normally, I hate food shopping but Wegman’s gives me a whole new experience. I just enjoy being in there. The prepared food is great too! Fresh, with a large variety of options.

Way better than the chestnut hill location. I just wished that their fresh bakery goods were covered. I sat and watched an old lady finger like 7 rolls with her bare hands before she actually picked up the one she was going to buy. YUCK. Aside from that, the food is good, hot foods are my favorite and the produce is good too!

I went in a few weeks ago to pick up a cake I ordered for my son’s birthday. As I was going to put in on the conveyor belt, I dropped it. I went over the manager and asked if he thought the bakery could fix it. Without a second glance, the bakery manager took the cake and made me a whole new one! I was so relieved and grateful for their kindness. A few weeks after that I bought some wine and dropped it in the parking lot when I was transferring it from the cart to my car. I went in to report it so someone could clean up the glass and the manager remembered what type of wine I had purchased and brought new bottles out to me in the car. The customer service cannot be beat!

What a gorgeous food store. Very clean. A big section of food and basically whatever your heart desires. They have an amazing beer and wine department attached to the store. Tons of parking. Great location right off 128! You can def spend the day browsing the aisles.

I’m so excited about the new addition to the Westwood University Drive shopping area! I usually frequent the Chestnut Hill location but I was already shopping in the area so I figured I could make one less stop. This location is huge! I suppose they have much more real estate to expand than Chestnut Hill. The shopping experience was pleasant as usual with the plethora of choices before me. The aisles also seem to have more breathing room in between so it felt less like bumper carts.(This could also be because I didn’t visit during peak hours…) I also want to note that they have a very small liquor store location on the right most side of the store, but they only carry beer and wine. The Chestnut Hill location has an entire floor dedicated and carry all sorts of spirits. Anyway this is still a relatively new location so I can’t wait to come back and visit again when I’m in the area!

I do not understand any ratings for this store that are higher than a 3. The prices run good and bad. Some of them are 20−30% too much, others are 20−30% cheaper. So, overall, it is probably a wash. Overall, it’s just another store for people who want Market Basket prices but wouldn’t set foot in an MB.

I have shopped at all the chains(Stop & Shop, Shaws, Big Y etc…) and this is by far the worst experience I ever had. Let me start off with the positives. They have a great selection of prepared meals. Almost everything has the nutrition value and a lot have bar-codes available for you to scan if you are using a food tracker app. The other positive about this place is there is tons of space so you never feel crowded when you are shopping like in most grocery stores. That being said most of the prepared food is overpriced and a lot more chains are selling prepared food at a cheaper price be it with less selections. When I went shopping last week they had little to no food in the store. They were out of: plain chicken breast, celery, pork shoulders, and a lot of shelves of produce were bare. No clue if a shipment was late or if it is normally like this, but the only time I’ve seen a grocery store this bare was when Market Basket was on strike. They also offer very little options for what they did have. Deli does not have reduced fat cheese or low sodium meats, eggs were not available in a half dozen, no light option for vegetable dressing/dips. And it wasn’t like these products were out of stock, there just weren’t places on the shelf for them. The deli told me they do not offer low sodium or reduced fat options. Speaking of the deli all the cold cuts are pre-sliced and the american cheese comes that way like Kraft singles. I like it cut thick but that wasn’t even an option. For customer service I had to ask 3 different employee’s where the sandwich bags are cause they did not know(which is next to the stationary btw…). Now mind you it’s not like they stopped what they were doing to find out, they just said«I don’t know» and we had to find someone else. Last thing was at checkout the clerk pointed to one of the items and asked«What is that?» Which I told him it was escarole and he told us they don’t stock it. Then he had me look through his system to try to find it for him. He also had no bagging skills just trying to shove everything in a bag until it was full. Even tried to put the bread/eggs with the heavy meats. Honestly I tried to keep this short and had to revise it. I would avoid this place it is way overpriced(which I had to cut). The quality of the produce of what they did have is nothing special. There was little to no food and the selections are limited.

Been to this store twice. First time was right after they opened, and it was amazing. 2nd time disappointed. Went on a Saturday afternoon, and they had inventory problems. Bananas were cleaned out and picked over. They were completely out of parsley and cilantro. Milk with past sell-by dates on the shelf. Still a very good store and still blowing away any competition, so I’ll give them more chances. Just really disappointed with this visit.

Great supermarket with great prepared foods! Nice liquor selection, including Not Your Father´s Rootbeer. I would definitely try the basting oil. You can put that s#*&(stuff) on everything: grilled vegetables, grilled meats, fish. I would also check out the meat & fish departments, especially for specialty items. They even have jamón serano from Spain. ¡Delicioso!

Love, love, love this Wegmans! I originally frequented the Chestnut Hill location, but it doesn’t even come close. Besides, this one is better for my commute. I like to shop here in the mid to late evening. They’re open until midnight. There usually are very few folk here at that time, so getting around and getting around quickly is NOT a problem for me. The items for which I shop were previously found at four different stores. With Wegman’s selection, I only have to visit two places! It makes things so much easier. A bonus is that I can grab a quick bite to eat while relaxing in the café if I choose to do so before or after shopping. This is one of my new happy places!

I am so excited that a Wegmans opened up near my house! I could spend hours in here– they have so much to choose from — from the healthy organic options to the more standard options. I love that they put the nutritional info on pretty much everything, from the freshly made sushi to the pastries. And the best part is that it is so much cheaper than other grocery stores like Whole Foods and Stop and Shop. This location is great — new, big, convenient location, surrounded by stores like Target and Nordstrom Rack. And the staff is super friendly. The last time I went, there was a guy doing a demo and cooking salmon teriyaki(which was delicious). But more importantly, the guy was so friendly that I actually bought a massive amount of salmon teriyaki when I don’t typically buy seafood. Coming from California, I have always been loyal to Trader Joes, but honestly I think I’ll be shopping a lot more at Wegmans from now on. Keep up the good work!

Wow — so impressed with Wegmans — got to go to a few in New York and New Jersey and was so happy they have found a home in Westwood, MA. I would compare Wegmans like Whole Foods on Steroids. The place is huge — but the variety, selection, and specialized departments outshine Whole Foods by a mile. Like Whole Foods, expect to spend a little when you go there. Any kind of food that is organic, pure, fresh and quality driven — Wegmans has it. I loved walking through the Vegetarian, Organic and specialty sections. The Wine section is spectacular — and if you have the time(and wallet) go into the chilled specialty wine. You want to pay $ 599.99 for a bottle of the most exclusive wine — you will find it there. Then after you buy that wine — stop in the vegetable section and pick out a few truffles(the real thing for $ 999.99 a pound). Say what!!! I fell in love with the cheese, deli, seafood, vegetable sections — AND the convenience food to take home or eat there is top notch. A true destination place. We plan to go the night before Thanksgiving, have a meal there and then shop for incredible items to serve at our home party. Now the SUPER A++ mark — plenty of check out lines — that ARE open when there are customers — they really know how to keep the lines small and moving. I hope that continues as they settle in. For now — I am just absorbing it all. Love, Love Wegmans — I will gladly drive from Mansfield to shop! Well worth it!

I finally decided to go check this place out and see what the hype is all about. Didn’t leave disappointed that’s for sure. The store is enormous!!! You could literally spend a day there. Some favorite sections are definitely the bakery, prepared foods, salad bar, the sushi counter(especially since they sell sashimi grade tuna by the pound) and the never ending cheese section. The only thing I was disappointed with was the produce section. The variety wasn’t any better than your next door shaws or stop and shop. I was really hoping to see a more local organic selection, kind of like whole foods. Overall, great place to shop!

Hands down the best supermarket within 10 miles of Milton and I’m not saying this because we’re in lack of organic produce markets in this neck of the woods. I’m saying we are in lack of a scared marriage of having both quality organic products(mostly produce) AND having them offered at affordable prices. For all the wine lovers out there, I nearly died when I saw my fave wine, Cakebread stocked up here. Then, there’s the rows and rows of deliciously prepared ready to cook food they offer. I really could go on and on but I’d just get your butt in here and you will see what I’m talking about!

At the risk of sounding like the biggest fat kid for life Wegman’s is my heaven. The craft beer selection and wine is on point. They sell my precious molly dooker wine which seems to be really hard to find. The cheese section basically made me see Jesus. I could keep going but I am just embarrassing myself. SO clean well organized and stocked there were 3 huge refrigerator cases JUSTFOR yogurt… oh no I kept going. It’s going to be a problem having this store right next to work. Oh one last thing. in the Mediterranean olive bar section. Hop pickles. PICKLESTHATTASTELIKEBEERGUYS

Came here with my family for a pizza dinner. We got a garlic and cheese and a regular cheese. Both of these pizzas were delicious. They took about 20min to cook which wasn’t bad at all the kids were able to watch some tv and play with some toys. The café space was very clean and so was the bathroom. The staff was also very nice and everyone seemed to be on top of things. It was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. I would recommend it if you’re not in the mood to cook they have tons of choices to choose from.

We totally love Wegman’s! The Star Market is the closest grocery store to our home(same one reviewed by me) but I would rather drive a bit further to come to Wegman’s. The new location is fairly close to our home, which is only about a 20 minute drive away. What I like about Wegman’s is the huge selection and variety of produce and produce. Their prepared foods are good, but I don’t think they compare to Whole Foods. The food has been fresh and well presented. There are ample open lines and although it looks busy, one can easily find an empty or short line. I would recommend coming here first thing or early in the morning. Saturday and Sunday afternoons are a bit crazy with people coming in to eat lunch as well as to do their grocery shopping.

I was so excited when I found out a new wegmans is opening in Massachusetts. Wegmans is my favorite grocery store of all time, even more than my precious sprouts in California. I wanted to go to their grand opening last weekend but I was out of town so I looked forward to checking them out today. I live about 25 minutes away from Westwood and had not even heard of the town until a few weeks ago. Let me just say that it was worth the drive. Not only is the store amazing but it’s located in a shopping plaza with other chain stores I shop at like ulta, Nordstrom rack and target. The inside of the store is huge. One of the employees said it’s the biggest in Massachusetts. They have all of the amazing unique products you can only find at wegmans. A few things impressed me about this one. 1. They have a natural food section that has organic cereals, peanut butters, etc. 2. Their vitamin and medicines section is huge compared to the chestnut hill store. I was happy to find my natural sinus medication for less than what I pay at the vitamin shoppe. Best of all, they have self check out. I find their prices to be significantly better than whole foods and even stop and shop and star market. The produce is almost always high quality and cheap. Make sure you sign up for their shoppers card. Every month they mail you a coupon book and each week has a $ 5 off of $ 25 coupon that comes in very handy.

I’m at the Westwood Wegmans right now. It just opened and is amazing. First– it’s huge. I haven’t seen much of the store yet but will update soon. The aisles I have been down are super clean and everything is extremely organized. And it’s larger than Chestnut Hill. Second– there are staff everywhere and checkout. I haven’t been to checkout yet but it looks much larger and less congested then the Chestnut Hill Wegmans. For the staff, who are everywhere), I have only spoke with one, but everyone seemed ready for this day and I’m ready to go back in and do a huge grocery shopping. I don’t go there, but they have a Beer & Wine store as well attached. They also have a full produce section, deli, meats, as well as TONS of small little permanent bars specializing in one item, but a selection of every type you could possibly buy, they also have a TON of different candies, in the candy aisle, you’d be sure to find any candy possible. Also — this location has more than Chestnut Hill. So far I’ve only noticed the differences of the Natures Marketplace here as well as a café(called Market Café), which also seems cool. Currently, it’s very busy but seems as University Ave can handle this traffic(there isn’t really any backups!). The best part is, this store is in my town and only 8 minutes from my house! Loving it!

Wegmans Westwood held their grand opening this morning(Sunday October 11, 2015) at 7AM, located at University Station, just off Route 128 Exit 13. I decided to check out the new Wegmans and I arrived here this morning and the place was busy. I usually do my food shopping at the Burlington Wegmans(with the parking deck) since it is the closest store to NH. They had a grand opening flyer offering lots of great deals including bananas $ 0.39/lb, 3pk pasta sauce $ 2.99, and Coke 12 oz cans(12 pk) 5 for $ 10 and other deals. Wegmans is what a supermarket should be! This superstore is not just a typical supermarket with basic groceries and staples. Wegmans Supermarket is a really big place to go food shopping. This superstore offers a wide variety of groceries, frozen foods, organic foods, bulk foods, fresh produce, seafood dept, deli, butcher, seafood, bakery, cheese shop, and Market Café section with seating area offering sushi, salad bar, international hot food bars, coffee bar, pizza, subs, fresh prepared foods, and cooking demo area, plus health & beauty items, household/pet items, books & magazines. This store also has a pharmacy and dedicated beer and wine section too! I can buy my Yuengling here, which is not sold in NH! I not only love shopping here, but I also love eating here too! I shop at Wegmans primarily to buy my prepared meals($ 6& $ 8 meals)(heat & serve) for dinner at home and to purchase good buys with my Shoppers Club Card. I also enjoy the pizza meal deals and choosing from the good variety of freshly prepared hot dishes from the food bars
