Love the miniature golf course they have here. Fun for the whole family and an excellent view of the lake as you enjoy a frosty after. I had the grilled chicken and fries and both were good.

I made a reservation for July 4 – 6, 2014 via email with the owner Linda Cashman. She asked for my credit card and told me it would be $ 125/night plus tax. I immediately pointed out to her that her website stated that if you stay 2 nights or more, then it is only $ 100/night. She sent me a curt email and said that her website was wrong. I told her you can’t just say that. I have noticed that since then, she has put«excluding holidays». I arrived on Friday, July 4th to find out that my name wasn’t written down as having a reservation, but the girls at the Frosty counter knew I was coming because our friends had checked in the night before. The staff called the owner and she needed to talk to me. I got on the phone with her and she informed me that it was a 3 night minimum and that I should have checked in the night before. I asked her where on her website it said that. She said she told me that in my email. Well, she did not. After a very heated 10 minute conversation, she says to me «you either pay for 3 nights or you don’t get a room.» Our friends all had trailers at Big Cove, but I had no place to stay so what am I supposed to do. She was so nasty to me on the phone and said give it back to her staff. I could tell by the look on their faces that she was badmouthing the crap out of me. They were very kind and apologetic and said they knew nothing about a 3 night minimum. Hmmm… interesting! I found out by accident that I don’t get my room made up for $ 125/night unless I special request it and I never knew what«breakfast» consisted of as I wasn’t ever told. In addition to that, we had ants around our toilet both days and nats flying around the bathroom. The vent over the toilet was held by duct tape and we woke up Sunday morning to the smell of sewer. I have 10 years of hotel experience checking in VIP’s, celebrities, and regular folk like me and if I ever spoke to a customer the way she did me, I would have been fired on the spot. She really needs to take a class in customer service. I said to her on the phone if I can prove that you didn’t tell me about the 3 day minimum in my email, will you refund me the difference and she said no. I looked it up this morning and
