History
Established in 1920.
Voted by over 40,000 Los Angeles Times readers as Los Angeles’ best sports bar in 2011, Barney’s Beanery has had a record of excellence since 1920. Started as a humble watering hole for weary travelers along Route 66, it has since expanded into a bustling sports restaurant and bar with locations in West Hollywood, Westwood, Santa Monica, Pasadena and Burbank. Billiards, arcade games, and giant TV screens decorate this historic venue, home to some of the greatest rock and roll stars of all time, including Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison.
