History

Established in 2011.

Pat Brost, the owner of Sisters of the Wool, learned how to crochet at the age of six from her grandmother. From crocheting she started knitting and she has been doing so for her whole life. Pat’s dream was to someday own a yarn shop. She would have friends over her house every week to knit, chat, and just enjoy each others’ company. Her boyfriend walked into the house once during their knit night and said, «Oh it’s the Sisters of the Wool» thus becoming the name of the yarn shop. Pat, as well as many others, feel as though the people who come to knit are not just customers or friends but they are sisters.
