About Us

Years of experimenting and tweaking recipes and a family that is obsessed with all things sweet, especially fine Chocolates, led to the birth of Le Rouge… a company dedicated to delivering an Eclectic Collection of Handmade Chocolates for the discerning Global Palate!

Be it a yearning for Nani/Dadi’s handmade Mithai’s growing up or the memory of Sichuan peppers, exotic mangoes, paan or the the simple crunch of almonds and hazelnuts enrobed in exotic flavored dark chocolate, Le Rouge delivers an exceptional collection to meet your yearning for the sweet taste!

Most of our products are made using Fair Trade Dark Chocolate and the freshest ingredients in small batches. Each order is made fresh, hand-​packaged, and is shipped within 2 – 3 days. Any orders placed after Thursday are shipped on the following Monday as we do not ship over the weekend.

With a background in economics and finance, launching companies in my early 20’s representing international buyers, raising 2 wonderful children, and living around the world — from India and Hong Kong to Minnesota and Weston — what do you do next? you open a chocolate shop in Westport.

Being detail-​oriented, I not only create but also designed everything — from decadent chocolate creation to the décor to the gift boxes — myself. Each chocolate piece is hand painted to perfection.
