I absolutely love their food. I eat all vegetarian but am able to come here with meat and fish lovers as well. Their counter food is amazing — presented like a deli where you order per lb or item. The kale salad is incredible. The quinoa salad is amazing. On the other side, their pizzas are also really, really, really good. They take a bit of time so just plan ahead. And if you’re in a rush, skip the pizza and head to the deli. Yes, their prices are really steep. But, I think you get what you pay for. The layout is a bit crowded but I think this is just a sign that they need to grow a bit into a larger space! And, I’ve never not found seating. There is a little more breathing room in the café area.

Stopped in to grab a sandwich and found the space to be a bit confusing. They have merchandise everywhere. It feels like they’re trying to be a Williams and Sonmoma and a delicatessen. I ordered a chicken parm sandwich on a roll that I had to select from a bin in front of me. When I say select, I physically picked up the roll and handed it to the person making the sandwich. Anyways, what I saw next ensured that I will never go back. I saw the chicken cutlet arranged with sauce, cheese then placed onto a paper plate. Next step, microwave for 2 – 3 minutes. I was handed the sandwich and proceeded to stand in the checkout and pay. I ate the sandwich and found it to be bland. Also the cheese from being in the microwave had slid off to the side and formed into some weird hard clump.

Great selection of foods for all tastebuds. Lots of healthy options. The store is decorated beautifully with lots of antique home goods displayed throughout. My family commonly orders large containers of the foods to takeaway for parties and big gatherings. The one criticism is that sometimes they leave the takeaway food out for a long period of time. Also check how much you were charged for your item, because I have been charged more than I was supposed to be charged multiple times.

We had an experience in this store that can only be described as odd. Across the way from this store is Craft Butchers where we picked up some ground meat for meatballs for dinner but their brunch menu is truly meant for dining in so we decided to go Garelick and Herbs as their sign mentioned sandwiches to go. As soon as we walked in I was so confused. On one hand you have lots of prepared sandwiches and salads and on the other hand you have soaps and table decorations. All over the store you will find tightly cramped displays of wrapped banana bread, jellies and jams, decorative napkins… what is your goal here? We decided to order sandwiches that were made in front of us. There was a list of sandwiches without descriptions. I ordered an Italian combo, thinking they would likely ask me what I wanted on it. But no, before I knew it I had a sandwich, the contents Of which I was unsure(it ended up having vinegar which soaked up the roll creating a soggy sandwich, as well as roasted red peppers which I detest). I was hoping to get a drink. The only options were iced teas or iced coffees. Okay. The store is shaped like an L so I rounded the corner to find even more crap being sold and an entire desert display. There was an area for eating-in that I was surprised(but honestly even this was odd, chairs were large upholstered and too big for the space). I think the potential is there but unfortunately there is just way too much going on.

Recently hired this caterer for an event: apps and dinner for 30 adults. Staff was helpful from menu planning through execution. Quality and quantity of food was exceptional. Event staff were professional and personable, attentively managing the the flow of courses and efficiently handling clean-up. Highly recommend consulting this organization if you desire high quality cuisine and responsive/reliable personnel.

The soup wall is classic. I am constantly rushing in before work to get a tub. My favorites are the lentil soup and the eggplant tomato(both vegan). I almost feel as though I am creating trouble for myself seeing as it is no secret how good they are and sometimes the store runs out! I top that off with a Nantucket Nectar and a bag of chips or bread and I am good to go. The staff here is really sweet as well, so 100% quality service.

Ho hum. Too much hype. Amazing retail displays though. The staff(and they do rotate quite a bit) always seem like they are in a daze– over worked, under paid, dealing w high maintenance perfectionist, demanding Westport clientele. Anyway… They serve a lot of premade, fresh & lightly imaginative healthy takeout & catering. Their tuna w cranberries, apples, walnuts is good. They also offer a variety of beverages, snacks & supposedly home made desserts, cookies, bars & sweets. The staff works hard here but I am rarely impressed by he FLAVOR of things. However, they do serve H&H Bagels– the VERYBEST– so kudos to them for that! You can buy & slipt or they toast them there– offer a few types of cream cheese, hot coffee, tea etc & sit inside which is designed & decorated nicely but w too many bistro chairs but I prefer to take out. They are connected to Pizza Thyme but I have never had their pizza. Private parking. Clean bathrooms but typically very busy.
