History

Established in 2009.

After working in the Hospitality Industry for more than 10 years, Nicole made the decision to start her own business so that she could spend more timing raising her three young boys. For the first year Nicole perfected her techniques and recipes by creating cakes, cupcakes and cake pops for her friends and family. By 2010 she began selling her creations and in 2011 she published her website with great success and positive response.

Nicole, of «SugarBabies Cakes & Cupcakes by Nicole», was born and grew up in Jamaica, West Indies. She inherited her considerable artistic talents from her American born mother, and from her Jamaican born father she inherited a quality of perfectionism and the desire to always work, and live, to the highest standards while remaining the open, easy going and friendly person that she is. Nicole holds a B.A. in Hospitality Management from F.I.U. and worked in the industry for more than 10 years before starting up her own business.

I needed a cake for my baby 1st birthday and depending on how I liked this cake and service I was going to order my daughter cake for her 4 year old big birthday party, cupcakes for school events and many other events in which I participate during the year. In resume, I contacted Nicole as she requested 7 days prior event. She asked information about amount of people attending, which I provided. But after that she never answer me again e-​mails or by phone. Nicole made me waist time waiting for her response and a formal quote for about 5 days. So I only got left 3 days before my event to look for another cake provider. I do not recommend her service because it is not reliable and you can’t trust someone that does not have respect for the customers time and obviously did not had the courtesy of answering a cake request service, that would had bring many other requests and most important good reviews.

I live in Las Vegas. Searched gourmet cupcakes and SugarBabies cupcakes popped up. I called & spoke with the Owner Mark. That was pretty cool. This is now the 2nd time I’ve ordered from them for my mom’s birthday and the product is ALWAYS beyond Excellent!!! Now I’ve never personally tasted them, but my family members & their friends rant and rave for a few days straight about how great the cupcakes are. $$$ well spent, especially all the way from the West coast. You guys have acquired a customer for life. Thank you for the excellent, variety in cupcakes. Superb service & custom work!!! I can’t thank you enough! I’m super excited!!! Order, order, order… don’t think twice!

I used Nicole for my son’s 1st Birthday. We got a Mickey Mouse themed cake and cupcakes. The design was so cute and everything was delicious! She delivered on the day of the party (on time) and even provided the stand for the cake & cupcakes! (That I later returned to her) I will definitely use her again for future parties.

SugarBabies Cakes by Nicole is the best as you can get in South Florida!
It is the real deal. Nicole did an excellent job on my sister Baby shower, that everybody was asking for a second round and her info. The decorations as well as the taste were great and matched the event theme. If you are looking for a real gourmet and unique Cakes or Cupcakes, SugarBabies by Nicole is the best.
She even send it out of South Florida.

Nicole’s cake pops did not disappoint… we chose the cookies and cream flavor decorated in a pink and purple «princess» theme to hand out as party favors for my daughter’s 5th birthday party. Each cake pop was meticulously deorated with a variety of swirls and sprinkles, then individually wrapped and tied with a ribbon. Nicole delivered them to my home the day before the party sweetly displayed in an elegant, white, ceramic flower pot. Her attention to detail was outstanding and the cake pops were not only beautiful but delicious! I highly recommend her. Looking forward to calling upon her for future events. Thanks for the wonderful treats!
