Jean Michaels Salon

I recently was in the salon to have my hair colored in an biolage ombré style, my stylist «Sandy» is phenomenal! Seriously I can’t even explain the satisfaction I felt upon walking out of the salon. She had initially had to color correct my hair in order to get me to where it is now (I initially had my hair colored in a medium brown). Sandy was wonderful at listening to what I wanted and answered any question I asked; before even showing her the picture I had in my phone of the color I had in mind she already had an idea that was spot on of what I was expecting. Definitely a master at her craft and I HIGHLY recommend her! If you are local or visiting from out of town I would definitely recommend Sandy for any hair needs. Their nail tech Jackie is wonderful too!

Recently moved to the area and noticed the Salon while walking by. A bonus is that they use L’Oreal professional color which my hair loves!
Young was fabulous! Nice, stylish, funny knew exactly what I was asking for and it was great! Romey (hope I spelled that correctly) was awesome as well! She takes great pride I in the salon! SOOOOO flipping glad that SOMEBODY knows and can do a «point cut»!!

We were visiting from l.a. and took a chance on Christine, and she did an amazing job. She was super patient and I look great! I got a great haircut and beard trim, and some wine. If I lived here she would by my go to hair person. I cannot say enough nice things about her.

Lifesavers! I booked an appt. with Noelle after another salon failed miserably with my desired cut, a short bob. The staff was so welcoming and Noelle immediately made me feel comfortable. She explained what part of the bad cut she could fix and I left feeling and looking so much better. I booked my next appt. with her before I left!

Took my daughter here to get her eyebrows waxed. Everything was great, the place appears clean and well maintained. She was somewhat satisfied with how her eyebrows turned out. Her regular person at another salon wasn’t available, so we took a chance to try someone new. So after the service is complete we go to the front to pay. I was shocked that they charge $ 16 to wax eyebrows?!? Every where else I have gone it’s $ 10! Why an extra $ 6? This place is not all that! I understand if you’re at a fancy spa or hotel… but a strip mall next to Publix?!? I won’t be back for overpriced mediocre services.

If you’re looking for a place to get your nails done go somewhere else!
First of all, I have a beef to pick with any place that takes walk ins right before a scheduled appointment. What’s the point of making an appointment if I have to wait 30 mins when I come in?
I didn’t catch the name of the girl who did my nails, and although she was friendly enough, I’m terribly dissatisfied. My toes came out fine, but my hands look awful! She took the previous shellac off my nails, trimmed and filed them, but never buffed the top of the nail, so the polish came out bumpy. I know she saw the bumps too, because she tried to pick it off but by that point the polish was already laid and she didn’t bother taking it off and doing things right. Also, didn’t soak my hands, so my cuticles were hard and looked super dry after. When laying the shellac on my fingers she didn’t go all the way to the top of the nail bed, so right after doing my nails they already looked almost a week grown out.
I wasn’t terribly happy leaving the salon, but I chalked it up to inexperience and told myself I would go back to my regular place in 2 weeks anyway. NOPE, less than 24 hours later the shellac is chipping like crazy! I literally went home from the salon, went to bed and woke up with chipped nails. Obviously their shellac is shit or they’re watering it down or something, because I paid $ 30 for a manicure that didn’t last me ONE DAY.
I called the salon the next day 4 times and no one answered, I left a polite message explaining that I wasn’t happy with my nails and I would like them to either fix it or give me back my money. No answer from them at all. Very disappointed with their service, will never go back.

NEVER AGAIN!!! Had a consultation a week prior with Karen and asked for Blue Black hair with Blue highlights came out with black hair that looked like it came from a store bought box… Also left their establishment with black hair die on my forehead and ears. Horrible low class place. I foresee them struggling and going out of business soon. They can only put up the charades for so long…

I go here because I feel Tina Noël who works here gives the best haircut. for me and my son… I also always get a manicure from jackie…

FAY IS THE BEST. I followed her here from another salon. I love the staff, very friendly. They always offer delicious coffee or wine. Fay is a pro and amazing at her job. I always get the bio-​ionic treatment and my hair comes out beautifully.

This salon treats all their customers as their guest. Always greet you with a smile on their face and offer you a cappuccino. Full service salon which helps if you are going to an event everything is done under one roof. Extremely knowledgable on new hair techniques, cuts, color and styles. Scheduling is never a problem they except walk ins. I usually get my nails done as my daughter gets her favorite pixie cut. Only place we found that knows how to properly cut any type of hair to what ever style you dream up.
But don’t take my word for it. Go and try it your self.

This salon is great. The girls are very attentive and friendly. Carley is my stylist and is amazing. Everytime I’ve done my hair it’s a collaboration amount us two. The salon is clean and the prices are reasonable. I’ve never had to wait my my appointment. They defiantly run on time.

Karen is the Picasso of Nails! She not only does a great professional job, but she takes pride in how the job is done. Karen is a true asset to the Salon and has the best sense of humor! I’d drive miles to get a manicure and pedicure with Karen! Clean and friendly salon!!!

Great receptionists, good management, clean salon. Very professional staff attends to clients needs.

So I have some pretty scary salon stories, but lucky for me this was not one of them! So I was looking for a new salon, that wasn’t going to cost me an arm and a leg and wasn’t going to make feel bad about it. A place I didnt feel bad about myself when I walked in, I’ve been to a few flashy overly priced places where the stylist look like they are about to hit the club and seem to gossip about everyone possiable as they murder my hair. I walked in 15min late to my appointment (a phone call I had to take) but as soon as I did walk in Carlos who I assume is the manger offered me a drink from their very nice looking bar, He introduced me to Stephanie my stylist. Now she looked so young, I mean not a day over 18 if that so I was a little worried, but she was great and took her time to make sure my hair was everything I wanted. A young girl gently washed my hair and I was off to the styling chair. Now I have crazy curly hair thats dry and very thick, and I wanted a cut and blow dry. I also wanted bangs (really bad!) Stephanie nicley explained that curly hair and bangs arent always the best idea but I insisted, I had a picture of Zooey Deschanel and I was determined! She asked me every step of the way, before the big cut. I assured her I had this crazy hair all my life and I knew the consquences of bangs ! so she took her time and cut my hair and blowed it straight, and when it was done — I still didnt look like Zooeny Descanel –LOL but blam that on genetics not the hair cut. The salon was very nicely decorated and clean, had a nice seating area the staff was friendly and welcoming and the price was pretty good ! I have paid more for much less. I was charged 60.00 for a cut a blow dry. I had my hair trimmed and evened out and my bangs cut. I left a 10.00 tip for a job very well done and will be coming back for a dye job and keratine treatmentr in the near future, which I was told was 70 for the dye job and 250 for the keratine. If they do a good a job on that like they did on my cut then that is a steal!

First I must say the service at Jean Michael’s is exceptional! I was referred to Holly and love the hair cut she gave me… best ever!!! See you soon for color!
