I had Sam (?) as a hairdresser for a simple trim. He ignored several of my requests and messed up the rest. The result was something uneven and just plain ragged. I called the place back and left a message to have them at least fix the unevenness but never received a reply. I think this has finished me for ever wasting a penny at a hair salon again.

Been cutting my hair for eight years since Fiona has started working at Innovation Salon and still is providing exceptional professional service with a personal touch. Recently, Fiona has been published on HairNMotion magazine which I recommend to check her work as well in the Spring edition 2015. Fiona also arranges wedding hair makeover to look your best. Five stars is not enough to rate this hairstylist!!!

BEST SALON EVER. These are highly professional stylists who know how to cut, color and style hair. Not a revolving door that is out to make big bucks alone. They consult with you before beginning, discussing what your expectations are as well as examine the quality of your hair to assure that the hair will not be harmed in a process that would not be good for it. Cuts are precision, styling impecable, and color beautiful. Cost is not exhorbant like the Oak Brook salons and the quality exceeds anything done at those salons. It is definitely the BEST salon I have been to the the south side of Chicago. Believe me, I have been to them all. Treat yourself and go to a a real professional to have your hair done. You will not be sorry.

I come here every time I’m in Westmont visiting and I must say that Hossam is the best! He gives me a haircut that has style, unlike those $ 10 cheapo places. I wish I lived here when I look in the mirror, my hair looks GREAT for a change.

I went their to get my hair cut, Hossam was my stylist, I don’t think my hair ever looked so good ! he asked me what do I want to do with it and I was tired and not sure so I said what ever you think will look cool. He did wonders ! Love my hair.
I ended up with short hair with layers however he did it in way that does not require me to do much in the morning, he showed me how to work it out with some hair mousse and just wave it with my hands to look all styled. The price was very fair and he TOOK HIS TIME styling me hair.
I ended up going there again for a friend of mine who loved my hair, he cut and styled her hair and I swear took 10 years out of her looks. I woudl definitely recommend Hossam to anyone looking for top dollar hair style without killing the wallet.

I don’t like it here

I had a Brazilian wax here with a Groupon. The service was impersonal, but fast, and I like that she tweezed the strays in addition to the wax. However, I’ve had better end results and cleaner experiences before. While she was careful in disposing the sticks and wax paper, the paper on the cot was clearly used with a previous customer.

I have been looking for a place to have my hair done for the past two years, since my husband and I moved out to the west suburbs. Time after time the cuts were all OK.
I went to Innovation for the first time today and my hair came out AMAZING. I have very straight, very heavy hair and I think it is a challenge for a lot of stylists. The stylist at Innovation was VERY straight forward with me about what would, and would not, work. I appreicated that, I want to look my best and professional advice certainly helps.
She also explained to me how to recreate the style she gave me, which I really appreciated. She showed me the steps and products to use to get the look I was going for.
I hadn’t been able to find many reviews on Innovation before going, but the ones I found were all good. This place is truly a hidden gem!

Love this place. This may sound crazy, but I drive all the way out here from the city to get my hair done once every couple months … why? My hair always turns out amazing, every single time without fail. No other salon has ever been that consistent (and I’ve been to MANY). My stylist is Erhan, ask for him if you go! I’ve tried out various colors and cuts over the past couple years that I’ve been going here and have been satisfied and happy each time. Definitely recommend it if you live in the area … or if you live in the city and have a car!
