Target Optical

I’ve been going to Target Optical the last few years. They are a great price with an even higher value. The staff is extremely knowledgeable.

My husband and I shop here for groceries every 2 weeks. We love this store, it is so close to our home. The staff is always friendly at the checkout counters, most of them are young teenagers, but they get the job done. The store is always tidy and we can always find the items we need. We frequent the deli for lunch meat and cheeses, the staff is always nice here. We have had some bad experiences with Archer Farms brand items which is unfortunate. We buy name brand on these items now, but we will always be loyal Target customers.

This is my favorite Target near my house. It is clean, well stocked, has good service and everything is easy to find. They have a Starbucks inside as well as a snack counter if you are famished from surfing all the cute clothing racks and the infamous Target clearance racks!
This is a Super Target so you can also buy your groceries in this location! The prices are just pennies higher than it’s not-​so-​classy one-​stop-​shop counterpart (begins with a big «W» but I’m not naming names!) but it’s worth a few extra pennies for the better experience i.e. well dressed and well behaved patrons and cleanliness. What?! No judgements here I still shop at that other place too… just sayin’!

My wife and I have been going to this Super Target ever since they opened. It is a fairly nice store, with good selection, and friendly staff.
However, there has been a drastic change in the past year in their Grocery section that I feel needs to be addressed. About a year ago, a Produce worker informed me that this store had changed their supplier, after speaking with me with an out of stock item. Ever since that day, the Grocery section has changed a great deal (no longer carrying many name brands). It is not the lack of brand names that is concerning, it is the lack of overall stock AT ALL, especially in the Produce and Lunchmeat section. Specific items that are often missing, or lack quality stock, are broccoli, bananas, sweet potatoes, Hormel lunchmeat, and turkey products.
All in all, we love this store. However, it is becoming less of the «one stop shop» that we had become used to every week, and more of a «non-​grocery only» stop that we hit every so often.

My husband and I shop here at least once a week (and have been coming to this location for years!) That being said I’m starting to get pissed with certain aspects of this store…
Number one, the carts are always full of trash! Get some of the lazy employees to clean out the carts! Sample cups, tissues, dirty hand wipes, and Kleenex are ALWAYS in the carts! 9 times out of 10 I’m getting some sort of trash out of the cart !
Number two, there are SO MANY EXPIRED items on the shelves! I have, over the years, had to take back at least 7 – 9 items to the store because they were out of date! From pie crusts, cheese, to cookies (just to name a few!) all had to be returned for an exchange or a refund! They need to step up the crew that stocks, and get them to rotate, and throw out the bad items ! It’s getting to be ridiculous!
We shop here because it’s the closest Super Target to us, and because there are a few employees that are awesome! Get some of these problems fixed and you’ll be a 5 star place!

This is the best target in the area. It’s huge and seems to be well stocked at all time. The only star deduction is because as you walk through the store, you’ll have 5 separate target employees annoyingly ask you if you need help finding something (which I never do). I seriously avoid eye contact but they still come up to me and ask if I need help. But then at the front when you have a cart full of groceries and junk you didn’t need and a baby strapped to your chest, they don’t ask if you need help out to your car. Put more employees at the front of the store instead of wandering around annoying people. Please.

Okay. I admit it. I’m a red clearance signed aisle end cap junky. There are three Target stores not too far from where I live and at any given moment, I can pretty much tell you what all three have on clearance. This store is my go to store for deals. I’m only telling you this in the hope that you’ll beat me to some of the deals so I’ll quit filling my damn house to the brim with stuff I’ll never use! Hep me!

I frequent two Super Targets: This location, and the location on 120^th and Washington. Do yourself a favor; drive a few extra miles and visit this location at the Shops at Walnut Creek.
Plenty of parking at this location, and since it’s not sharing space with Cost Plus World Market, Barnes and Noble, or any other strip-​mall shops, you won’t have to worry about crowds.
The deli is terrific; fresh food even late in the day. At reasonable prices! How cool is that?
The women’s clothing selection is also far better than the 120^th Ave. store. I’ve never had a problem finding something as simple as a basic tank top in a standard color, and I’m a fan of their jeans.
Finally, this store is *always* shiny. I never see spills on the floor, dust on the shelves or clothes tossed all over the place. Why can’t all Super Target’s be this clean and organized?

I love this Target. It is really close to my house, has a starbucks inside and one across the street. I never have to wait in line because there are plenty of cashiers available to help. They have awesome amounts of sale items on the end caps.

Just moved to DC and I already miss this place. Sure there is a walmart to the north and south of me, but ain’t nobody got time for those shenanigans. If I wanted screaming kids and the crème de le crème of Westminster, I would go to a monster truck rally…
I digress, always clean and welcoming. Great selection of food. Love Target.

These people who work here suck! I am so tired of workers being so high and mighty and treat customers like they are bothering them all of the time. This store has raised their prices over 100% on many items that I frequently buy and I am tired of it. I think I will no longer shop here and if you like keeping your money I would reccomend you all do the same!

This Super T is deceiving; it looks large and in charge on the outside, but the inside doesn’t quite have it going on.
Let me define «irony» real quick — yours truly trucks all the way to this Super Target for one thing, and one thing only, thinking that, because it’s so large, it will not only have these items but have many of them. WRONG. That item is pet clothing, and there was not one thing to be found — not even a leash! (I know that’s not clothing, but still. exterior accessory.whatever.) There is food, there are shampoos, there is kitty litter (not that my dog needs any), but no, zero, nada of the cute doggy wear found at EVERY other Target in the Denver metro. What gives?! Lord knows the place is big enough to have six aisles of it. Oie!

So this is now my target sense we moved. I do like it it’s large and has a great variety. The people who work here all seem very nice. They don’t sell booze like the one in Glendale but they are still a great target.

Stay as far away as you can. I have shopped at this target since I moved to Westminster in Aug 2011. Since I have gone their I have been treated rudely by staff and management. The staff does not want to help you if you have a question, the cashiers are clueless and will not listen to you and the management treats you like you are one of their associates and talks to you in condescending tones.
I have two big instances that stick out. The first is I went there late in the day to buy some last minute groceries before I went home for the evening. When I arrived at the checkout counter the cashier noticed that a few of my eggs were broken and asked me if I wanted new ones. I politely said «no don’t worry about it, you can just put them back». She says okay, and then places them in the plastic bag to go home with me. I said again politely «excuse me Ms, I do not want the eggs, please take them back», she then looked at me with confusion and said «you don’t want them», frustrated I respond «no, no thank you». She takes them out of the bag and I ask her, «did you take it off the bill», she says «that will be $ 64.10 please». I follow up with, «you did take the eggs off, right?», she responds «yes» in a soft unsure voice. I pay and think to myself, I don’t think she took them off, so I check the ticket and sure enough she did not. I went to the customer help desk because the cashier was busy and I didn’t want to wait to correct her mistake. The lady at the customer service counter was polite and asked if she could help me. I explain what had happened and asked if she would give me back my $ 5.00. She replied yes, I will have to give it back in cash though. I asked why? she said because I am not allowed, she offered to get a manager, I have dealt with management before and I decided it would be for the best if I said no. She then says «I can only give you back cash». I soon decided that I do want a manager and she said no problem. I wait for 15 minuets at the counter and before I turn and around ask «how much longer until your supervisor gets here?», she responds with a befuddled shoulder shrug and I finally say in an angry tone «just give my money so I can get out of this store», please keep in mind I have a newborn waiting for me at home. The associate responds in a sarcastic tone she says, «Certainly, here you go. Anything else?» I said «yes, tell your management they just lost a loyal Target customer». The young women responds, «okay». I could not believe that was their attitude about it.
I, myself have not returned since. Before this incident when my girlfriend was 8 months pregnant she went to buy a stroller and some baby food for our unborn child, using some gift cards she received at her baby shower. Her problems occurred at the check out counter (surprise, surprise). The clerk seemed as if he was new and there was a supervisor of some kind. The only way my girlfriend knew she was a supervisor is because she had a wristband full of keys and she was walking around with a false sense of superiority. I digress, when the cashier started to ring up her items my girlfriend looked at the credit card swipe machine and the screen said please swipe card. My girlfriend assumed that meant it was okay to swipe her gift cards, she swipes one and the cashier stops bagging for a second and the supervisor with the keys looks up with an angry scowl and says «DO NOT SWIPE YOUR CARD WHEN HE IS SWIPING ITEMS!!! YOU NEED TO BACK-​OFF AND LET MY ASSOCIATE DO HIS JOB!!!». My girlfriend (who is very non-​confrontational) steps back and says «I am sorry I didn’t know». The baggier continued to «DO HIS JOB», and my girlfriend waited patiently. He says that will be (Whatever the price was, I wasn’t there”, and she says «Oh wait, I have the business cards and coupons», the cashier rolls his eyes and the supervisor who I shall call the Key Master says, «YOU SHOULD HAVE GIVEN THOSE COUPONS EARLIER», my girlfriend responds with a firm «Okay I am sorry, can I swipe these cards now?». The response of the Key Master staggers me to this day, she states «I TOLD YOU TO WAIT, YOU NEED TO LET MY CASHIER DO HIS JOB!!! I WILL TELL YOU WHEN YOU CAN SWIPE YOUR CARDS! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?». To this day I don’t know why my girlfriend did not get a manager, but she does come back with a great comment, she says’s“I AM SO SORRY, WHEN I WAS GETTING MY DOCTORATE AT UC SAN DIEGO I FAILED THE TARGET CHECKOUT COURSE.” The Key Master took a step back and scowled.
Now these are just two instances of a long list of issues. I say please support the Target brand, just avoid this one at all costs, unless you like crummy incompetent service.

The location of this Target is great — very close to home and work. In addition, there are quite a few great little shops, eateries and yes, a Starbucks. This is our destination for day-​to-​day home needs.

I shop at this Target at least once a week. The only complaint I have is the cashiers. These people have no idea how to bag. They over pack their already thin bags. The cashiers are never friendly. I walk the registers in order to find the cashier I dislike the least. If it wasn’t the fact that I live close to this store and the rest of the employees are nice and friendly I would have stopped shopping here two years ago.

Like I said before… it is Target… it is awesome and I love them!

Awwwww, I miss this Target.
This used to be my ‘hood. It’s not anymore. So when I hit it after B*Dubs and Football, I was hit with nostalgia.
This is a true Super Target, with the meat section and produce. It’s always been clean, and I know the layout, which was certainly helpful after a few Happy Hour Absoluts.
This is on the bigger side of the Target scale, but not huge. Seems to be well-​stocked, and actually had in stock some hard-​to-​find toys… er… sorry… «Collectible Items» … for my Honey.
Since it’s no longer in my Zip Code, I won’t be driving 30 minutes to get here, but when I’m up in the area, I’ll probably make it a point to drop in.

I should be officially diagnosed as a Target addict. Do they have medication for that? Anyway, this is my neighborhood Target and I’m here all the time. Seriously, I’m almost the mayor (that’s on foursquare for those of you not in the know).
For the most part, this Target is awesome. The produce — excepting the tomatoes — is better than both the Safeway and King Soopers down the street. The Archer Farms line is the best store brand I’ve ever tried. They may have a bit of a smaller selection than some traditional grocery stores, but I almost always find everything I need. Prices are always better than Safeway, and most of the time better than King Soopers, even with a Sooper card. The rest of the store eats up a whole bunch of my paycheck too.
There’s downsides though. I stopped buying milk here because without fail, it would be sour a week before the expiration date. I don’t drink milk much, so I need every hour of freshness possible. Also, the deli people seem to hate their lives, jobs, and me. If there’s anyone there, their backs are turned and it’s impossible to get their attention. If I do manage to catch someone’s eye, it seems like I am hugely inconveniencing them when I ask for some delicious Archer Farms turkey (so good!). Sorry dude, I just want a sandwich later. And oh yeah, it’s your job! If there’s more than one person waiting, you might as well forget about the deli and TRY to come back later.
Anyway Target. You have my lifelong allegience, I just wish you’d get your shit together so I don’t have to go to another store just for turkey and milk. Thanks.

We were in the neighborhood, today to run some errands. The layout of this Super Target is the norm where, on the left wing of the building is where you can find the Deli, Pre-​packaged Meats, Produce what nots.
The right wing of the building is where the digital electronics, books, magazines, what not and the norm of the aisle of what Super Target can offer.
When we were there, many customers perhaps living in this area doing their norm weekend shopping needs with families and friends. So by that, it shows the parking lot for this Super Target is indeed jam packed.
I realized some of the products that they have and offer, its not being offer at the current neighborhood that we live in. Is this a good thing, perhaps so and perhaps not.
Its a TOSS of 3 to 3.5 stars. So far so good. Perhaps if we were to live in this part of neighborhood, this is the SUPER Target that we shall go. All in all, I enjoy my shopping spree though its just for grocery needs for the week.
