We are versatile school with a strong Ballet Technique base located near downtown Westminster in Maryland offering dance lessons in a wide variety of genres. Our studio offers instruction in Tap, Hip hop, Classical Ballet, Pointe both on a semi pre-​professional level and a recreational level, Lyrical, and Modern/​Contemporary dance for children starting at age 2.5 years through adult. We offer a Special Needs program with a dance instructor, Occupational Therapist and specially trained student assistance for peer modeling and one on one guidance, tailored for age, abilities and goals. We offer summer camps for all ages, and we gladly provide instruction for birthday parties and special events. Our purpose is to provide a great atmosphere for all our students to learn quality technical dance instruction, whether they want to learn for fun or train for a career in professional dance at reasonable rates. History

Established in 2007.

Reflections in Dance was started in July 2007 to offer a quality dance education at affordable prices to families in Westminster and the surrounding communities. We are a family based school with highly qualifies teachers on staff. Our instruction starts at 2.5 year olds and goes through Adults. We are a versatile school with a strong Ballet Technique base offering instructions in Classical Ballet, Pointe training both semi pre-​professional and recreational, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Modern/​Contemporary and Hip-​hop. We offer a strong program for Special Needs students as well. We welcome students with social and physical challenges to join our typical classes or a class that caters to there unique abilities with an instructor, an Occupational Therapist and student helper for proper modeling of behavior and posture. We offer performance opportunities 2 times a year. Tchaikovsky’s beloved Nutcracker in December and a Benefit Recital in June.

Business Owner

Sandra grew up taking dance lessons in Toms River, NJ, she spent her high school years and beyond working in various classroom and office settings before becoming a Child Care Professional. Sandra’s love for children and the Art of Dance was a perfect fit when she co-​founded Reflections in Dance in 2007. You can find Sandra always at the school if she is not helping in a classroom she is behind her desk chatting with parents, students or teachers. Sandra works very hard to keep an open line of communication with her staff and the parents of her students but most of all she enjoys seeing the students grow and mature into beautifully talented and respectful dancers.
