Really enjoyed this little«hole in the wall» today. Clean inside, nice music. We each had a meatloaf sandwich on toasted sourdough bread with cheese. Fries were included. Great service and not crowded. Very nice, we will be back!

Been here twice. LOVE their coffee and the friendly staff! The first time I had the Aloha Breakfast and it was fresh and tasty. The second time I had the Greek Scrambler and it was over kill on the sun dried tomatoes… all I could taste, I think there must have been over 50 of them enough to make a few more breakfasts at home! But I really do like the place overall and would go back!

Love this place! It’s a small place with limited seating. We got there early so were able to be seated right away. Food was excellent. We had the Baja omelette, breakfast burrito and banana pancakes all were hot and delicious! We were looking for a good place for breakfast and we found it. We will be back for sure!(Lots of people were coming in to pick up their phoned in orders as well– if you don’t want to wait for a seat that seems like a good option)

Our favorite local breakfast place! The food is great as well as the service. We are so happy Pam opened one near us as we have been to her Long Beach restaurants many times.

Excellent pancakes! Homemade recipes past down from generation to generation at a mom and pop restaurant. Excellent breakfast. Biscuits and gravy were amazing too! :-)

We came to Pam’s because it was next-door to the barbershop where we took the boys. It was 10 and we were looking for breakfast. Pam is the waitress and was very friendly. She said to sit where we liked. She attended our table immediately brought us coffee and water. When my GF ordered breakfast, we ordered from the Specials menu, and she had the $ 5.99 special but didn’t want the pancakes and wanted to have a side order, for which Pam charged us $ 3 extra. But she noted that Pam failed to point out that you could order from the regular menu(same price $ 8.99) and have two sides for the same price. She thought a good waitress would have suggested the main menu selection. Food arrived quickly and was filling, but not spectacular. You could get the same meal at Denny’s for less money. But Pam seemed to know everyone in the place, so if you want to get away from the chain restaurant and go to a nice small little homey place, Pam’s is a cool spot. It’s only open for breakfast and lunch. décor is really cool and it was very clean. Bathrooms were also very clean, and cute. To me it kind of felt like a home cooked meal for a fair price. Recommended, but we will not return.

Two words, BANANAPANCAKES! Great vibe, super friendly staff & owner and they also do a excellent job on to-go orders. We have also had the eggs benedict, chocolate chip pancakes and home fries. I don’t usually even eat sweet stuff for breakfast but OMG they are awesome!

My fiancé wanted to take me to breakfast somewhere different for my birthday. At first I was hesitant because I had never heard of the place but as soon as I walked in the door & was greeted by the friendly owner &COUNTRY music… I gave him thumbs up. I LOVE country music! We sat down in a cozy booth & had so many choices from specials to a variety of pancakes. I went for the chorizo scramble… delicious! So many wonderful flavors in one dish! My fiancé ordered the banana pancakes with a side of BACON! Of course we shared! The bacon is so delicious. Cooked exactly the way I like it — crispy! Needless to say we have been back with family & friends on several occasions. One of the BEST breakfast spots near our house.

Pam is the best! Always refilling your coffee before asked and always asking how’s it tasting? Love the food the chorizo mix, omelet, and strawb worry waffles! Definitely coming back!

This place is amazing! From the service to the food quality. The eggs were perfect, the home fries were nice and crisp. And you must try the granola blueberry banana pancakes! We will definitely be returning!

The place had a nice vibe to it as we walked in. One of the waiters told us we could sit wherever we wanted after awkwardly trying to figure out if we were supposed to sit ourselves or wait for someone to sit us. The wait staff was very nice, though. The woman we had was very happy and made sure we had everything we needed and even offered to get me a colder glass of milk when my food arrived. It took a little while to get our food which was kind of annoying(30 minutes) since we were both starving but the food was decent! I got a Philly Cheese Steak which was only okay, I felt like it was lacking flavor. But my girlfriends’ French toast, eggs, and bacon were amazingly made. If I go back it will be for the French toast or some other breakfast food! Overall I would give this place about 3.5 stars but I’ll round up since I can’t give it that! There was a nice atmosphere, we were given a good amount of attention my our waitress and the French toast was fantastic. The only downsides were the long wait for our food, and the disappointing Philly Cheese Steak.

As I enter the restaurant, I recognized the owner but had forgotten where she owned previously. We talked and she said she purchased Pam’s Place located and tucked away in a small mall by the Ice rink off of garden grove blvd. between Golden West and Valley View just turn into the Hockey, Ice Rink. Head towards the back and you will see it on the right. As her previous location in Long Beach. She has out done her self this time. Improved the menu and recreated some of my favorite breakfast items. I had the skillet dish. everything was fresh and enough for two people. The coffee here is second to none. It is not a fancy place but the food and Pam’s accommodating smile welcome’s all that comes through the door. Breakfast and Lunch only. but worth the easy drive to get there from Long Beach, Seal Beach, Garden Grove or Westminster. Thank you Pam

2.5 Stars Went here for breakfast this morning based upon the positive reviews. Our experience was not the most positive and I’m not sure if it was an off morning for them or what. The biscuit and gravy my wife received was awful. The sausage gravy was very watery and lacked any flavor. It tasted like it was either made from a Knorr or Lawry’s packet like you get from the grocery store or they just don’t know how to make good home made sausage gravy. The biscuit was very hard(almost like a rock) throughout. No fluffy texture inside. Not sure if those are even home made as a Pillsbury biscuit bought at the grocery store would have been much better. The best way to describe it was the biscuit could have been made a day or two previously and wrapped up in plastic food wrap and they intended for the watery gravy to soften up the hard biscuit when they went to serve it. The bacon inside my Popeye omelette was a light pink translucent color, limpy in texture, and very undercooked. The home fries we received was just meh. It was just like something you would get at a average coffee shop. Adding some onions and maybe some bell pepper to the home fries would be a welcome addition to the home fries. The staff seemed very scatter brained as they were all over the place. Maybe they could have used another server or busser to help out? The only bright spot if you want to call it that was the coffee was okay and the Trivial Pursuit cards they leave on the table to pass time while you wait for the server to take your order or wait for your food is kind of cool. Hopefully if Pam reads this, she will take it as constructive criticism. I think this place has potential if they tweak a few things I previously mentioned. For now we will have to pass on going back.

When I walked into this restaurant, no one greeted us or noticed us. After that, we had decided on our meal and tried to flag down the waitress; then she just took her jolly time and finally took our order. We ordered a tuna melt and Hawaiian sausage and eggs. After half an hour of waiting, our food came. The tuna melt just tasted like pure mayo and cheese. There was nothing HAWAIIAN about the sausage, it was basically just meat and overdone eggs. Overall food is okay, does it really take 30 minutes to make a tuna melt? When we finished eating, we immediately got our check and paid. Our waitress gave us the wrong change. I wouldn’t come back or recommend this place.

Yum! This is a great place to go for a Sunday Brunch with friends and family. Never had home fries like theirs before, and theirs was delicious. Super crispy crust and soft and fluffy inside. I tried their Aloha scramble and it was really delicious. Definitely filled me up and it takes a lot to do. If you plan to stay and chat for a while, I recommend getting a cup of coffee. They are definitely not stingy about it. They practically fed my addiction every 5 minutes and I was there for at least two hours. At one point, I think every server there had a pitcher of coffee on hand. Anyways, the place is pretty spacious but not too loud. Great for a party of four or less. Scan through some of the pictures and you can see why I wouldn’t recommend more than four. Servers were very generous, especially with the coffee. Parking will never be a problem, you’ll know what I mean when you get there. Great place to eat out! Give it a try when you can.

Service was really good and attentive. Our server was super friendly, sweet, and accommodating since we were on a time crunch. My boyfriend and I really appreciate it! I think the best seller here are the banana pancakes and probably the other pancakes as well. I only tried the banana pancakes because I saw that there were banana slices IN the pancakes! Definitely made it worth getting– also very good! I ordered the Florentine Benedict, which I wasn’t much of a fan of. The biscuit and eggs were good, but I think the Hollandaise sauce made me feel like it was too sweet whilst mixing it with the salty spinach. It just wasn’t a good combo for me, so I just ended up giving it to my boyfriend to finish. He liked it though. My boyfriend got the Aloha Scramble, which was on the special menu. He enjoyed his meal– I didn’t try it. He also got the biscuit and gravy on the side. you can’t go wrong with biscuit and gravy haha! It was good. The house potatoes, which were like potato scallops, were really good! I loved it and I’d come back to this location for their variety of pancakes and house potatoes! Overall, this is a really nice joint located in a strip mall, next to the ice skating rink. Reasonable prices and there’s no long breakfast wait.

I’ve been here a couple times now, when my boyfriend and I showed up for the second time a week later the waitress remembered us! It always makes a place feel more homey and relaxed when the servers take the extra time to get to know their customers. I will admit it’s a little awkward that there is no sign that says please wait to be seated or seat yourself. Standing awkwardly at the door until someone notices you to say sit wherever is a little weird. And something they could easily fix. I order the same thing every time because I am OBSESSED with the banana pancake, which is huge by the way! I order one and a side of fruit and I am full. I also love the coffee here it’s always fresh and it’s very good quality. My boyfriend has gotten a few things he loves that he can get a side of biscuits and gravy with any breakfast meal and really enjoys their scrambles. We both think the prices are extremely reasonable, you’re not eating at McDonald’s this is a sit down restaurant $ 10 to $ 12 bucks for a meal that fills you up and has you asking for a to go box is a good deal!

This little café is tucked away in a little strip mall, right next to the skating link. I honestly had no idea that businesses existed there until today! The place is really cute — great, homey decoration. Really friendly and attentive staff, too. Actually this is where the 2 stars come from. Food? Ummm… not that impressive… at all. I had Eggs Florentine with potatoes on the side. I order Eggs Florentine frequently at many cafes and usually, they make sure that eggs used are of sufficient size. The ones that I got were like the tiniest eggs ever! I couldn’t believe it! I think they were a little bit on the overdone side, too — not much egg yolks to run down and moisten the English muffin :(And all there is is English muffin, pouched eggs and spinach but it was kind of salty. I have to say the best part of the meal was nice, cold water, then my potatoes. That’s kind of sad…
