I have been to 3 Optometrists in the last 3 years because I’ve been getting a lot of eyestrain from spending too much time in front of the computer. The last 3 prescriptions didn’t work out for me so I still have to use my 4 years old glasses. Dr. Than is very attentive, friendly, caring for her patients. Even though my eyes are not used with the new contact lenses, she called and asked to come back to try different ones until I can get the one that I’m comfortable with. I guess I’m not a contact-​lens person so I will just stick with my prescription glasses. I would recommend Dr. Than to anyone. She really cares for her patients, and I would like to thank her for that. I will definitely come back in the future

I visited LT for my annual eye exam. From the reception to the actual visit, everything about my experience was great! I did a walk-​in and the lady at the front was really welcoming and did a pre-​exam before I got to see Dr. Vu.
Dr. Vu (so young looking!) was so patient and a really good listener when I asked her many questions throughout the exam. I was nervous about getting my eyes dilated and trying contacts for the first time, but she made me feel really comfortable and helped me through the whole process. The exam didn’t take too much time and at the end, she gave me these faux sunglass to protect my eyes when I left.

To be honest, I loved the service here. I came from Costco Optical in Huntington Beach in which I find a rude place with lousy customer service but I cam here and I felt like I was treated right and respectfully. I was set up for an appointment and I had a great time there. It took less than an hour for an eye contact exam. Cheap price for my exam and Dr. Lina Than was amazing and very explaining of everything. I would of course come back and interested in getting sunglasses next from there.

uhm … I’m not sure with all the high rating stars /​reviews here. I am very skeptical when it gets to my health, especially optical because i wear glasses and contacts all the times, so i want to give my eyes the best treatment as much as possible. Dr. Than is okay, nice, professional, but she spent just a little time with me — maybe because i came in on the weekend and the house was full so she had to rush me out (i don’t know…) But her staff is the main issue here. I came in around 2pm on Saturday, politely waited in front of the counter for almost 10 MINUTES and no one even bothered to greet me or asked if i needed help with anything. And yes, they saw me, because we made eye contact. But they simply ignored me with a cold distant look… and they are not even with the customers at the moment, the girls just stared at the computer forever… I mean, would it be that hard to just tell me to wait and she would be right back with me? I’ll be very happy to wait if she just simply let me know that she’s aware of my existence in the office.

This place is great! it was a very quick service. my appointment was @ 1:30 and when i came in they were ready for me. the receptionist was cool, wasn’t to pushy into selling me any kind of glasses and they gave me a big discount. i dont have insurance and it was affordable. i got a pair of burberry eyeglasses my eye exam and lends for them for a total of only $ 250. the glasses by itself is already $ 265.00 plus tax. i wil come back and i will recommend it to my friends and family!

I walked in today as a new client and it was, by far, the best experience I’ve had with optometry. The staff and Dr. Than were really friendly, the prices were fair, and they were able to accommodate my eye exam with little to no wait. Dr. Than also gave me a very thorough explanation of the results of my eye exam and what they meant instead of using medical jargon only (e.g., myopia). Good communication and a wide range of prices for glasses to fit your budget. I definitely recommend it!

I used an Amazon deal for a glasses eye exam and frame purchase. 4-​Stars for being able to find affordable frames that I wanted, friendly customer service, use of modern/​updated technology, and ease to talk to with Dr. Lina.
They have lots or frame selections even though its a pretty small store/​office. The technician/​assistant, Tracy, seemed to push me to try on and buy the more expensive designer frames. I had mentioned getting something more affordable so I don’t have to pay a huge difference. (I’m a struggling post grad who has loans to pay off…) I stood my ground and eventually found a pair of frames that were affordable and that I’m happy with.
FYI be prepared to have EXACT change if you plan on paying in cash. I picked up my glasses and was going to pay in cash but they didn’t have any change. I ended up just using my card.
Dr. Lina was friendly and is definitely knowledgeable of her craft. Overall, I’m happy with my experience here.
Most likely I’ll just stick to my normal eye doctor that’s just down the road. If I had to, I’d probably head back here.

I bought a voucher off living social. It was so worth it. It was a very nice and organized place, very professional and clean. I got a name brand pair of glasses for a low price. I’m very happy with my choice great place.

I went here in Mid May 2014. If you have contacts and glasses simply the best experience and value I have ever had! Will be coming back every year or when I need an exam, glasses, or contacts.
Way better than giving your money to some corporate entity (i.e. Lenscrafters) or some arrogant yuppie type optometrist and/​or staff.

I bought an Amazon deal for this establishment a month ago and I’m so happy that I did!
1. The location was just pretty near our area. Establishment was clean.
2. The staff in front was very helpful and accommodating. She offered me a bottled water while I was waiting for Dr. Lina. (It was just a short wait though and service was pretty fast)
3. Dr. Lina Than was very patient with me. Knowledgeable of her craft Plus you can tell she’s really nice.
4. Was shocked that i received a written thank you note in the mail from her. Hand written! I appreciate that a LOT specially with our technology today.
5. And another shocker when she left a message on my voice mail, checking in on me regarding the glasses that I got from her.
Now that’s the kind of service that is rarely experienced nowadays.

I always have great experience at LT Optometry. Dr. Than and staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this Optometry to my family and friends.

Love this location for the following reasons:
1. The convenient location. It is so close to my house. And open all convenient time for a worker like me.
2. The price is reasonable and be honestly compared to other stores, they much more cheaper.
3. The staff and the doctor is so friendly. If u need to wait, they always make a conversation with u and make u laugh.
4. the service is fast and perfect. I just need come there twice to finish my contact lenses. First for eye exam then pick up my contact lenses.
5. Recommend you make a reservation first cuz they getting more busy.

I really hope Dr. Than could be more friendly… and seems like she doesn’t want to explain throughly with me, she just passed by it. Meh… I wish I could love this place but… their attitudes really put me down…

My first time here 4 an eye exam and I am pretty satisfied with their service. The staff is nice and so is Dr. Than. She explained to me about my left and right eyes very thoroughly. I can’t wait to come back in a wk 2 pick up my glasses!

Great selection, great prices, very reasonable when it comes to frames and lenses. The optometrist is through, I’ve recommended many of my friends and family here and they have taken care of everyone very well. I got a pair of ray ban glasses and Versace sun glasses, which both work very well. I’ll be coming here as my main optometrist from now on.

I needed a contact eye exam badly because I had run out of contacts. I called to set up an appointment and they were able to see me very quickly.
Extremely friendly staff! Very quick and friendly! Although they work quick, it didn’t feel as though my appointment was rushed.
I got the year supply of contacts for around $ 100 (more or less).
Not a contact-​wearer? No worries, they have a large selection of frames for you to choose from!

Came here for a much needed contact eye exam. I called them right at 10 AM and asked for an appt about three hours later and they were able to fit me in which I appreciated.
Everything that the other reviews say on this place is true. The staff are all very sweet, prices are awesome, and they are quick to follow up.
Not only did I get an eye exam here, but I also got new frames for only $ 30, and I got my prescription put in for $ 90.
Only $ 70 for a contacts eye exam!
Highly recommend.

I care about three things when going to my eye doctor:
1.) cost
2.) quick service
3.) reliable service
With an asymmetry of knowledge, I don’t know much about check ups. I notice Dr. Than did do a few things differently from my past optometrist.
1.) actually stared at my eyeball with a shinny light
2.) had me look at some color slide things
3.) showed me a short clip about astigmatism
Apparently I have an astigmatism… who knew.
Cons: For me a 5 stars means the best of the best, from the check up down to the customer service. I’ve been to LT optometry 3 times. I think the customer service here is a little odd. Sometimes they seem really nice and other times indifferent.
Furthermore, when my brother asked why my plastic glasses (plastic is cheap right ?) where price over $ 100, the receptionist told us «it’s made in korea»…what?
I don’t doubt that Dr. Than is very knowledge in her field (Go bruin !), as long as prices are fair I don’t see why I wouldn’t come back.

I came to LT Optometry after eating at a nearby restaurant in the same plaza. The appearance of her office and the fact she was in my medical network were win win situations for me.
I made an appointment to come in for an eye exam on a Friday morning and came away highly impressed not only with Dr. Than but everything about LT Optometry. Before we even began the exam she goes through all of the benefits that your insurance offers and is very upfront about all cost.
Dr. Than was friendly and welcoming in all manners, the same can’t be said for a lot of places in Little Saigon. During the eye exam she was pleasant and thorough, there was never a moment she rushed or seemed pushy. She made the whole experience relaxed and comforting, she never hesitated to answer questions and even gave me an opportunity to ask any questions I may have had after the exam.
LT Optometry has a such a wide selection of the latest frames from many different companies. It ‘s actually hard to select a frame for your glasses because the choices are a plenty.
The experience at LT Optometry was so great that I am taking my wife in to get her eyes checked as well. She’s even more pickier than I am when it comes to health care providers.
There are many choices in LS for optometrist and you’d be a fool not to come to LT Optometry. You’ll leave with a smile, I did.
