Lawrence F. King, J.D., and Christopher L. Griffith, J.D., M.S. are highly experienced, full-​time Colorado divorce mediators. Colorado attorneys and innovators in this work, Larry and Chris offer a positive, affordable alternative to adversarial divorce, child custody, child support or other family law disputes.

With expertise in divorce, family, and Colorado legal issues, we help you (and your spouse or co-​parent) imagine and create your own solutions that meet both your interests and especially the best interests of your children. We will assist you to move efficiently through the maze of Colorado divorce laws as well.

History

Established in 1992.

Our mediation service is a rarity among Colorado dispute resolution service providers. With offices off the Boulder — Denver turnpike, we are privileged to work full time & only as divorce and family attorney — mediators, and we aspire to be among the most innovative and the most skilled of family mediators anywhere.

Both Larry and Chris (Griffith) came to the field of divorce and family mediation after years of active lawyering in matrimonial & family cases. As the practice’s founding mediator, Larry has mediated divorces and parenting disputes of several thousand Colorado couples. As a former counselor with a Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy, Chris brings a unique educational background and work experience to our mission as well; Chris has assisted nearly a thousand Colorado couples in more than seven years full-​time work as a family & divorce mediator.

Both Larry and Chris are licensed Colorado attorneys who now work exclusively as divorce & family mediators.

For more than eighteen years, and now as a full-​time mediator, I’ve been fortunate to limit my professional efforts to helping Colorado couples in the greatest of personal and family transitions find their own answers to often challenging questions. My many earlier years’ training and experience as a Colorado divorce and family lawyer allow me to explore with my clients a great range of possible approaches and solutions that have proven to work well for others.

As importantly, I am highly intuitive by nature: I often sense what is not being said — but what is very much at the heart of our work together. I’m incredibly fortunate: every day in my efforts as a Colorado family mediator, I receive much more from my clients than I give to them.»
